This was my first time staying in this hotel, and i was overall very shocked with how amazing everything was. Everything was perfect. There is 3 outdoor pools one is situated at the opposite side to the other pools which mean you can get away from all the families at the opposite side, I loved the outdoor facilities this hotel has to offer. Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner is so spacious and modern, and breakfast was outstanding so perfect, professional and such a variety of choices. One thing in this hotel that did not satisfy my needs, the hotel rooms was the only thing that ruined our holiday, I know we weren’t in our hotel room that much however, when we were in it, it would stress out anyone and everyone. No room to walk around at all you were squished in. The bathroom was bigger than our bedroom. So this is something to consider for whenever we come back. Apart from this I will be recommending to a friend and I will definitely be back.

This hotel is a very large hotel and thankfully quieter in February as I wouldn't like to be there in peak season. Beautiful beach location with nice views. We went all inclusive and whilst the food was good, I did struggle as a vegetarian. Daytime snacks were awful, chips/burgers/sausages etc that were lying out for ages - I take it during peak season this would not be the case. We were very disappointed on the night we arrived ie 10.00pm as were told no food was available and would have to order something in - never experienced this before when going all inclusive as usually the hotel will leave a salad or something out for people arriving a little bit later. The room was very basic and more like a 3* hotel. No kettle and only 2 sockets. Lightning is awful at nighttime for us ladies who like to put on makeup etc. Only one outdoor pool was open during February and only one bar open. The hotel seemed to cater a lot for large groups of footballers / golfers etc. Nightime entertainment every night and was inside and we enjoyed it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially Angel in the bar, who was a total gentleman and always a smile for his customers. All inclusive drinks were of good quality and I was able to get Gordon's gin. They also served other premium drinks for no extra fee. A big advantage is that the hotel is a very short transfer to the airport and very cheap using uber. I would return again but only when it is quiet.

“Sol Principe Family Holiday”

Our first stay at the Sol Principe and overall this hotel was very good, we would certainly stay again. We had a family room at the front of the hotel with a great wrap around balcony. First impression I thought the bedrooms were a bit tired but the bathroom was lovely. Large flat screen TVs in both rooms. Rooms very clean and fully serviced daily. Towels for the sun beds, robes and flips all provided as well as all the other bits that could be needed inc toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving kits etc. There was an option that included mini-bar service but we didn't have this. Safe was available in the room. We were staying all inclusive and the food service at breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant was fab. There is also a snack restaurant open all day near the pools. Notably this is the first 4-star hotel we have stayed in where the all inclusive offer didn't just include local spirits, really nice to see Jameson's, Smirnoff, Havana Club and Gordon's to name a few included in the offer - very nice. Bit of a search in the mornings for sun beds around the pool but no great issue. All the staff are really helpful and polite, and with a weeks worth of full sun it was near perfect.
