“Clean and in an excellent location.”

Lovely hotel, right on the end of the famous strip! We had a room overlooking the pool with spacious a balcony, it was clean and well appointed. The breakfast was fine, plenty of choice and the dining room was bright and comfortable. Gorgeous pools with plenty of sun beds around them. We found the lifts painfully slow, but considering all the good points the hotel had slow lifts are worth putting up with.

Stayed for a week in March 2024. The main -arts of the hotel are very nice and clean however the rooms could have done with a lick of paint. My mums room in particular was quite bad but liveable for the week. The staff at this hotel are amazing so professional and friendly. My mum who is disabled had a manual wheelchair which was allowed to be left in the luggage room when we went out of the hotel. Ana on reception in particular was mega helpful and booked mobility scooters for my mum and her friend. Sh always had a smile and always made us feel welcome. The cleaning staff too were so busy too and still made time to say hello. 10/10 for staff The food at this hotel was really good, great selection for breakfasts and dinners. We only booked half board so I can comment on lunches. The pork cheeks are so tasty and the seafood night was also great although a tool to open the crab would have been helpful. Also if you’re having ice cream take it from the freezer with the glass door. The stuff from the soft serve machine isn’t ice cream lol You get a good size fridge in the room fresh towels daily and there is a hair dryer in the bathroom. Overall a really good stay and will definitely be back here. Thank you Sol Pelicanos!

Family trip with adult children. Staff friendly throughout. Great location on the strip. Ask for quiet room towards the back of the hotel though like us otherwise at the front with the strip noise would be incredibly noisy. The hotel is in two buildings… pelican and Ocas. We were in ocas. The hotels are joined via the main pool which is huge. The main pool is fantastic… plenty of staff maintaining rules and expectations so very clean and safe. Main Pool shuts at 6pm which felt early but it is their winter season. This also means no aircon as on winter mode, they can offer you a fan though. We paid £132 each for all inclusive 5 nights (minimum 4 nights for AI) highly recommend all inc… measures are insane… drinks and snack bar with hot and cold food plus restaurants for breakfast, lunch and evening meal with wine and beer on tap. Entertainment was ok, The Greatest Showman tribute show was by far the best on the Friday, the staff worked so hard. We visited the outdoor market which is massive, indoor market is a bit smaller, old town and viewing area is stunning. Only bug bare for us was the small things, the toilets in the main bar were damaged and dirty, the whole in/out bar smelt of chemical toilets all the time regardless of the time. Lights not working, bathroom door in one of our rooms wouldn’t close, fan didn’t work, sink was blocked. Parts of the hotel felt unloved and they just need keeping up to standard, really important as a guest to feel valued in all aspects. As mentioned staff, pool, were excellent. Highly recommend a visit to neptunes bar, George Michael experience and the Liam Gallagher one were first class, just a great venue all round. The crown, western and red lion also fab with live music. Went to see sticky Vicky and felt underwhelmed 😂 but glad we went… Loved our first trip to Benidorm as a grown up family… lots of positives, just a few things that could have been better. Infinity lifts at the hotel which are fab for a photo opportunity Flew from LBA to Alicante with easyJet via Hays Travel.
