“Lovely hotel and staff”

Stayed here HB for a week and had a great stay. Pool was fabulous, food-plenty of choice, rooms-spacious and everything you need and the pool view was amazing, location- great spot if you want a beach holiday (5 minutes walk) or a wild holiday (2 minutes to the strip) Would I stay here again.... ... more

“Not just a TV series...Recommend!”

Seafood and grilled fish selection was up there with the best i have eaten in upper star venues. Lunch selection great and breakfast very good. (If you are expecting an English cafe experience then this is not for you). Pool and beds were great with a separate little 'help yourself' for all inclusive. Drinks include branded items and Staff were fab and friendly .... especially if you treat them with the respect they deserve! Room was basic but clean ... and TBH it matched the description of what was booked, so no grumbles.... BTW the lifts do work and don't take and age to arrive! In summary... did exactly what it said it would + a lot more ....location for the bars and nightlife excellent.

my husband and I came here for a special occasion. Our 1st time away with out the children and as we've watched the tv series we always wanted come. my husband and I came here for a special occasion. Our 1st time away with out the children and as we've watched the tv series we always wanted come. Sod it, we booked for 4 nights. check in was smooth. The room was ok, two beds pushed together, not ideal when its your 1st time away without the kids- if you know what I mean... We had a balcony overlooking the two small pools and as we arrived late we were disappointed to see that the pools weren't like those on tv, however, the next day we did find the other pools and were lovely and nice to sit around. Lots of sun beds were already taken but we found two and perched there. The pools are absolutely freezing! not just cold freezing. Was 30 degrees and couldn't even sit on the side, everyone else must of felt the same as you look around and no-one was in any of the pools, such a shame! the swim up bar was closed and doesn't seem used. Glad we only went half board as the food was ok but not great, ok if you like fish! lots of the evening meals were either fish or meat dishes. not much for a veggie. Drinks were ok, maybe watered down as didn't taste the alcohol in them posed to when out and about. Lifts are very slow! we were on 8th floor and my husband has mobility issues so had to catch the lift. Out and about was great found some lovely little bars nice and cheap. also nice little shops. would we come again, probably not. Was very disappointed that the hotel itself looked nothing like the sit com and rooms and food were very basic. Neptunes was across the road and down the street but didn't open until the evenings. no blow and go anywhere that we could find. Mataoes is also down the road nice little bar. Old town is sweet and caught the bus there.
