“The Resort is Fab for Families and kids”

The resort was fabulous for a family holiday with kids. Its certainly geared up for families rather than couples. But there's still is something for everyone. The main pools with splash pad are busy all day with families, but there are other pools around which are really quiet. The food is fine, always a different main every night, don't believe the reviews that say its inedible. It was lovely. The reception staff were so friendly. The cleaning staff were really helpful and the entertainment team were amazing. They never stopped! From pool dancing, kids club, yoga, sports etc, they were always on the ball and always so happy to help and enthusiastic. They really made a fuss of the kids and made their holiday special. The one downside was the air-conditioning which isn't switched on until the summer months. This was difficult on a night time. We had a standard room for 3 of us and it was quite small. Not sure on what the other rooms are like. A nice walk to the marina was lovely and not far, but other than that, not much to explore on foot.

We went to Sol Falco beginning of June 2024 , was abit worried about the reviews with food etc . I went as a single mum of two. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean , our room was a new model with balcony looking over splash pad pool area was very pleased with room appon arrival (which I paid extra for) . All though the air conditioning didn’t work all week and asked to have someone fix it but still didn’t work . Most people I spoke to that was staying there said the same thing. So was hot at night and needed door open for air . Cleaners cleaned our room but I had the same bottom sheet on my bed all week would have been nice to have to changed at least once . Pool area was nice and clean except the odd area around small round child’s pool which had old food & empty bottles left from day before on the odd occasion. People were going down early to put towels on sun bed which is unfair and there was a notice regarding this matter of them being removed if not used in an hour . As sometimes we had nowhere to lay. Kids club was great my daughter loved it . Entertainment crew were great with kids and worked hard . And some great shows at night to watch . But the kids entertainment didn’t start to late abit too late for my 3 1/2 year old . Now the food … food was good for an all inclusive, they did have Variety that you’d expect at an all inclusive. Food was changed regularly and kept clean . Eggs were sometimes cold an undercooked on top. So you can ask to have your egg flipped over .when I stayed had a Mexican food theme and Chinese theme night . Sometimes snack bar food was cold and a few burgers undercooked. But over all food wasn’t as bad as some of the reviews I had previously read. Sometimes long que at bar but went down pretty quick. Overall we enjoyed holiday there and would go back . We went with our daughters and granddaughter on a family holiday. The hotel was lovely and clean with lovely staff, particularly the entertainment and kids club staff. There was some issues with the food, their was much choice for children and the food was not very hot. We also had issues in our block with the water being to hot and one morning no water at all. The management soon fixed this and apologised but with the food and water issues this put a damper on the holiday.
