I cannot say enough about the staff here from check-in to check out, from the front desk, bell desk, room service and housekeeping everyone we encountered was kind, gracious and very helpful. At check-in, we were given an upgrade to a oceanfront bay facing room with a large balcony. It was a larger deluxe room and three times the size of rooms we had been staying while in other parts of Japan. Rooms were very clean and in great condition, although the rooms could definitely use some updating. The free yukatas provided for sleeping were a nice touch. The hotel is a 2 minute walk across the street to the Disney monorail system. There is also a shuttle bus, but we found no need when the monorail was just across the street. The monorail arrived approximately every seven or eight minutes. The food at the at the hotel is not quite geared for younger American style picky eaters so we took the monorail and went to Ikspiari, (similar to a smaller downtown Disney shopping area) which had several food and shopping options. One night I called the front desk after a long day and about suggestions for food options that were simple and fast. They suggested ordering a pizza from the buffet and having it delivered to our room via room service for my picky daughter. We chose that option and the pizza was very very good! I was so thankful for the suggestion so we did not have to leave the hotel again that night in search of food. There are washer and dryers available , although it is quite a walk from the rooms and you will need to get quarters but it was a nice option to have. There is a small Disney store inside of the hotel if you need any last-minute gifts. . Down the hall from the Disney store were two convenient type stores with quick to go food like instant Ramen packs, onigiri rolls, ice cream and drinks and beer. There are a few other shopping gift type stores also in the same corridor. On the day of checkout the bell desk will hold your luggage for you free of charge. This was our third stay at the hotel over the years and I would recommend the hotel to others , and when we return on our next trip, we will stay again. The only reason I gave four stars is that the rooms in the hotel could use some updating. But the Staff absolutely 5 star.

The hotel is perfect for families with decent sized rooms for Japan. The rooms themselves are a little dated but very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were amazingly kind and polite and were amazing when dealing with my child’s health emergency. The hotel is perfectly situated for Disney activities and had great facilities for the kids. There is transportation for the Disney parks as expected with Disney affiliates. However the extra charge for the kids to play in the soft play area was a little disappointing given the hotel isn’t a budget experience. The dining experience was great with a fantastic patisserie style cafe. I feel that the coffee in Japan was definitely not strong and is filtered rather than espresso style like we are used to however, it was acceptable. Room service was great and the staff were very accommodating for the kids needs. A word of warning for those travelling on a budget. The main buffet style dinner/breakfast experience, whilst the offering was amazing it was I would say excessively expensive for what you get unless you plan on putting away copious amounts of food the value just isn’t there. There is another buffet style restaurant area that we had breakfast at each morning which was fantastic and much more reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to any families planning on staying in the Tokyo Bay area.

Pros: Location to Disneyland fantastic fitness room Spacious rooms with excellent views Excellent cocktails at bar but not open until 5pm Cons: Restaurants overpriced but to be expected Outside pool is out of order and it's 30 degrees . The pool is green. It's not that difficult to continue maintaining a pool through to winter No mini bar service
