Excellent, clean family-run hotel in a great setting, handy for transport as well as seaside promenades. Great facilities and food, with a wide variety of dishes. We went with Saga, with a great rep Wendy Woods, on their 4 weeks for the price of 3 offer. She helped us get acclimatised and we really felt at home. We could take local transport up and down the coast as well as discovering all the local attractions of Calpe. Also, the Saga Duty Officer was a great help when we got in a bit of a scrape on the way there!

“Perfect in every way”

Very clean, hotel smells lovely in reception and other areas. Fantastic, large, comfortable bed and pillows. Close to beach, bars and restaurants. Amazing breakfast with a large variety of options. Free safe in room too.

We as a family of 3 have just come back from our stay for a week over Easter. Overall the hotel was lovely and very clean. We as a family of 3 have just come back from our stay for a week over Easter. Overall the hotel was lovely and very clean. The inside pool was nice....a little tired but clean and sometimes got very busy on an afternoon. You need to wear a swim cap too which you can purchase at reception. The rooms were spacious and clean, bathroom a little dated but very useable. The pillows were amazing, the best I've had in a hotel!! The restaurant was excellent, lots of choice at all meals and lunch and dinner weren't repetitive as some other guests have said. Lots of choice and you can choose fish , steak etc which is cooked fresh on the grill to your liking. The paella was lovely. Plenty of dessert choices, fruit and yoghurt. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of the old town which is worth a walk around. And 5 minute walk to the Ifach rock which has great views and is an easy walk up. If you want to do the harder walk further up I think you need a permit. The beach on both sides if the rock is lovely too. We were all inclusive but there are lots of places to eat and drink both ways within a few mins walk. The only downside was the kids mini disco didn't start until 9.30pm then the entertainment started afterwards at 10pm until around 11.30/12. The chairs in the bar area are very uncomfortable after a while but if your lucky enough to get a sofa then your set for the evening (only 5 to chose from). Our room was on floor 2.....room 202 towards the front of the hotel so was very loud when the entertainment was on even with the inner door shut. You couldn't hear the TV over the singing without having it loud. We would normally stay up for the entertainment but it just got so incomfortable on the chairs we couldn't bare it for too long and we're not old! We were told we could change swim towels each day at reception on one particular day I stood to the side where the laundry basket was where I was told to collect new towels, I waited for someone to give me clean towels from the cupboard.....a 10 second job, two staff were dealing with guests checking in which I appreciate they need to do. No one came and they kept glancing over so were aware I was there. I waited over 20 minutes then my husband told me to leave but the towels were soaking and we were going swimming. I went to the back of the que and waited another 30 minutes ......so 50 minutes just to get clean towels, ridiculous!! By the time we got to the pool it was so busy we couldn't go in. there was no-one in it earlier when we were on our way.

“Avoid unless you are a cyclist or a Spanish child aged 3 to 10”

Our holiday at this hotel was spoilt in 2 ways. Firstly by cyclists who seemed to have taken over the hotel. Our holiday at this hotel was spoilt in 2 ways. Firstly by cyclists who seemed to have taken over the hotel. They were constantly using the lifts to carry their bikes to their rooms meaning lifts were hard to get. But the worse thing was the fact that they returned from their rides went straight to the bar area before showering and the strong smell of perspiration was very evident. Secondly towards the end of our holiday unruly children were rampaging around. I have to say they were Spanish families and the parents were totally unconcerned. I lived in Spain for many years and have grandchildren who were educated there so I am not biased against Spain in any way. But we will not be visiting this hotel again any time soon. This is a shame as our superior room was excellent and cleaned daily. The food too was very good and the position of the hotel was perfect.
