“Lovely Hotel”

Great facilities... inside, outside pools & gym. Really lovely staff and 2 bottles of complimentary cava for my husband's birthday was a lovely gesture. Food was good, especially breakfast. Good cycle storage (we were on a cycle trip). Would not hesitate in recommending.

We loved the location of this hotel easy to walk to the beaches both sides of the rock we enjoyed the food and the drinks and snacks are so good our room was clean and comfortable on floor 11 we had excellent views. I would like to say the staff here offer exceptional service and this is all done with a smile too live entertainment each evening we also played the mini golf I would recommend

We researched a lot of different hotels prior to booking and I have to say we chose brilliantly. The hotel was very clean, including the rooms, the staff were incredibly friendly and the hotel is located between the 2 beaches that Calp has to offer. They had plenty of entertainment for all ages and I could not recommend this hotel enough. The food was very good quality and plenty of it. If there was one tiny criticism, and I mean tiny, it would be that the food was not very well labelled and as one of the family was vegetarian its was not always easy to identify if the food contained meat or not. Highly recommended.

A lovely hotel in a good central location, having been to the other side of the 'Rock' we were glad that we chose this side. Travelling as a coeliac isn't always easy. The hotel has laid on a 'gluten free' area with a toaster, chopping board, knife and some madelaine cakes and cookies and cornflakes and sweets. I would ask that the hotel moves this very useful facility to a more remote area for future guests requiring gluten free food and facilities. On the first morning, an elderly gentleman moved from the freshly baked croissants opposite the 'safe area' to use the knife and chopping board to cut his croissants and bread rolls up. I tried to explain the reason for not doing this and he didn't understand and why should he. A lot of people don't unless they have come across it before. It is a great idea from the hotel, just needs relocating a bit and the sweets on offer also attracted children with their piled plates of toast, cakes etc... The chef kindly walks you around the buffet letting you know what is cooked gluten free, also there is a fryer cooking only chips, so a real treat to be able to have chips. I ate safely all week and can only thank everyone involved for making that happen. There is a great choice of food on offer here, for both breakfast and dinner. Our room was very comfy, one of the larger ones with a very nice sofa and huge balcony. We also had a sea view and the morning sun. I would recommend a day out to Altea and also Denia. A bus stops by the Spar and for 1 euro 50 takes you up to the tram station which coincides with the tram leaving in both directions. The tram is 2 euros 50 each return. So, for a day out at Denia plus travel and entry into the castle (worth the climb for the views) it cost 15 euros for both of us! We would definitely use the hotel again if we ever return to Calpe. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay such a good one.
