Just returned from a week at this hotel arranged by Saga. Quite simply, this is an exemplary hotel, exceptionally well managed, which runs like a well oiled machine. All the staff are helpful, friendly and go the extra mile. I had hoped to express my gratitude personally to the manager but she had retired for the day. But did express these comments to Alina at the reception and asked her to pass them on to the manager with my thanks. JFS.

“Excellent worth a retun visit”

Had a brilliant stay at the Ifach stayed for 10 nights all inclusive with Jet2early April. Weather was lovely and warm just a little chilly in the evening Food varied lots of choice always hot which was a bonus. Drinks excellent bottled wine at meal times and good measures served at the bar by excellent bar staff.(Beefeater and Gordon's gin,white Label Whiskey and the best Irish Coffees I have had for a while) Snacks offered with drinks eg crisps olives peanuts also icecreams of all varieties included in the all inclusive. After returning to the hotel at lunchtime from the Saturday market in Calpe the staff were offering samples of paella and sangria in reception which we thought was a nice touch. Balconies are large and spacious rooms also spacious and clean. Its worth noting that rooms that get the afternoon sun are pool facing otherwise the rooms at the rear of the hotel get morning sun. During our stay we found that the hotel had a real mix of visitors ranging from families with children to Saga guests, groups of male cyclists,groups of Spanish students and couples. We found that there were always beds around the pool no matter what time you wanted one. we often went out walking in the morning and sat around the pool after 2pm . Weekends seem to attract spanish families and there was early evening entertainment to accommodate them. We will definately return now that we have found our way around the area. We caught the tram To Altea promenade and the old town, You do need to catch a bus which takes you to the tram station though . Another day we caught the bus to Moraira which is lovely for a morning out. we didnt venture any further as at the time of our vist there was a problem with the line and part of the tram journey was replaced with a coach. We did find the Saga rep very helpful with directions to bus stops etc even though we werent Saga guests .The resort was very quiet in the evening we went out for a walk but found only a couple of bars open with no one in them I assume this would be different later in the season. Sat market is worth a look get there early before it gets crowded. Moraira market is on fridays word of warning last bus back to Calpe is 1 pm We booked a Hoppa from Airport on arrival to avoid the obligatory multiple drop offs in and around Benidorm. After finding out that the retun transport with Jet2 would be collecting us at 4pm for a 9.30pm flight due to collctions on the return journey we arranged our own transpot and stayed at the hotel until 6pm .Happy days All in all a brilliant holiday met some lovely people at the hotel . The only downside with the hotel for us was the uncomfortable seating in the lobby area it would be so much better if there were better quality seating this really lets it down. Minor point with so many positives.

“A good hotel, well located in Calpe”

This was our second visit to this hotel. It has an excellent warm indoor pool although it is compulsory to wear a swimming cap. This seems rather silly to us. This was our second visit to this hotel. It has an excellent warm indoor pool although it is compulsory to wear a swimming cap. This seems rather silly to us. Men with beards and hairy chests do not have to cover those up!!!! Our room on the 13th floor was comfortable but the sofa would have been better with a few cushions. A walk in shower would also be better than having a bath tub with shower as we are elderly. The meal choice is generally good....it was better on our previous visit in November, perhaps due to the seasonal fruit at that time. The staff are helpful and bright and cheerful and the cleaners work very hard and kept our room very nice. The hotel is very well positioned centrally in Calpe for walking around and my wife who needs a walker now found it all mostly nice and flat for walking about.
