“Good value for money, clean hotel.”

Full, honest review. Large group of middle aged British women, away for a birthday celebration. Arrived just after 11pm, reception were polite and friendly and booked us in easily. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and no food was put on for our late arrival however there is a KFC and a kebab place directly opposite that were open, and the hotel bar was open until 11:30pm so we were just in time for getting some water to take to the room as there was nothing to drink left in the room for us. The room is clean, bed comfortable, plenty of pillows etc and although I could hear some noise from outside and in the corridor it didn’t stop me sleeping too much. You have to pay extra for the safe and tea facilities in your room. Breakfast has a buffet consisting of breads, meats, cheeses, hot section of sausage, scrambled egg, roast tomatoes, hashbrowns, baked beans, fried egg etc, fruits, yoghurt pastries, juice, teas and coffee and Buck’s Fizz. Food has been different at lunch and dinner and different each day (which goes against some of the review I read) and everyone in our group of 11 have always found something enjoyable. I really enjoy Spanish food and have loved the seafood and aubergine dishes. The all inclusive laws are different here so alcohol is only served at meal times but you can buy it from the bar in between if you want and it’s a good price. Be careful walking around the pool, it’s slippery. You’re not allowed glass at the pool which is good as I’ve been to hotels before and the amount of cut feet was ridiculous. You pay 1 euro deposit for a plastic cup, but you bring your cup back and they replace your drink in a clean cup. We were a bit naughty and topped our non alcoholic all inclusive soft drink up with some rum that we brought with us or there’s a shop just out the front. The hotel is really clean, there are cleaning staff constantly on the go. This isn’t an adult only hotel, there are a few kids here but not many as there’s not much for them to do. The beach is a few mins walk from the hotel (turn left out the hotel and take the first left) you can get a sun bed on the beach for €10, you can get a beer for €3 at one of the beech front bars. There are some tacky bars and some lovely places. If you want to eat out for a traditional Spanish meal then I can highly recommend meson can Miguel which is just 3 minutes walk from the hotel. It doesn’t look fancy, but the food is incredible and very reasonable, this place is not an over priced tourist trap. We have ventured out to the strip at night. It’s not really for me but the hotel is ideally situated if that’s what you’re after, clubs are just a short walk and BCM is just next door. We came mid week and BCM wasn’t open so I can’t comment on how much it affects the hotel. Overall. This place has been great for a cheap friends get away, great value for money.

Went to this hotel for my son’s 18th birthday, 2 rooms 2x 18, 53 & 22. Admittedly I was apprehensive due to it being Magaluf and next to BCM but seriously could not fault it. We were put at the back of the hotel right next to the club, Stayed on 2nd floor, it was really quiet. Our view of the car park wasn’t great as like to sit out on balcony, however don’t go on Holiday to sit in my room. The hotel was immaculate so clean. The staff, All the staff are amazing and friendly. We stayed half board food there was plenty all fresh. The pool is great I loved the way it’s set out with jacuzzi jets set out in water sunbeds and the bit in the middle where you can sit out of the water. Upstairs on the terrace the little pool there is lovely along with the beds. The entertainment guys are great. This hotel is set 10mins away from Palma nova and 5-10 the other way the Magaluf strip. Would definitely recommend this hotel and already looking at going back.

Hotel Samos was a good hotel, in a good location with some good amenities, but it’s not going to blow you away. We came away for a last minute few days away over a Bank Holiday, I’m not sure what ‘level’ of room we had but it was very basic, it had everything you need, but nothing more. A comfortable bed and a clean room to settle in. Not somewhere you would use for much other than sleeping. The Air-Con was hit and miss, and only really made a difference when left on while we were out for a few hours. We opted for Full Board, which gives you Breakfast, Lunch and evening meals. With Juices in the morning and only Water for lunch/evening meal. All Buffet style in the food hall, each offering a variety of options. All as you would expect from a ‘budget’ all inclusive, perfectly good food, but nothing that will blow you away. We generally had a walk round and if nothing took our fancy, we would go out to one of the many restaurants around Magaluf/Palmanova, all within a 5-10 min walk along the beach. I think 3/5 nights we went for food elsewhere. The hotel has a good main pool area for those that want a bit of light entertainment and music, and a ‘upper deck’ pool area for those that just want to relax, both have their own bar for drinks and snacks. Overall, the hotel was good, it provided exactly what we needed for our 4 nights away but nothing over and above. The hotel was very clean, the staff are all friendly

Just returned from this hotel our room was very basic certainly not a four star and balcony overlooked the carpark so not great. There literally nothing in the apartment not even a glass in the bathroom to rinse your mouth out after brushing your teeth. There was 9 of us there for a hen weekend me and my daughter just paid for bed & breakfast but can’t comment on the food as we ate out because really don’t do hotel food but didn’t get an option while booking for self catering also there’s no kettle in the room so doesn’t sure early risers if you want a cup of tea.The rest of the party we were with we all inclusive but not what it used to be you are only allowed 3 drinks with lunch and same at dinner if you want a cocktail at the bar you pay half price and if you want to upgrade to unlimited drinks you have to pay an extra 10 euros a day at reception but it’s only for the whole duration of your stay so you can’t just say you want it for afew days. Apart from that the pool area is very big and lovely large pool and people are not allowed to put their towels out until 9am which is good and there are plenty of sunbeds so no need to run down at 9am All in all hotel is spotless and rooms cleaned daily but beware if you have an early flight which we did so arrived at the Hotel at 10.30 and was told room not ready so can’t book in until 3, we checked out at 7.30am so can’t understand why they can’t get it cleaned quicker.
