“Getting a little dated, still best place for families.”

We have been staying at this hotel for extended periods (2+ weeks at a time) since 2011. It is convenient to anything in Louhu, and its quick if you need to go back and forth to HK frequently. The price is moderate and its about the only hotel in the area that has 2 bedroom suites with a small kitchen and a living room. Take the breakfast deal when you book it, absolutely worth it. Very family friendly. Hotel staff's English is hit or miss and the rooms need to be updated badly. Also, ask for a non-smoking floor when you book as the smoking floors have rooms that are well, "heavily scented." We've stayed at Shangri La, the Panglin, Sunshine Hotel, and others and keep coming back here as the size of the rooms are large and we have twin 5 years olds and the extra bedroom is really a life saver and keeps away the lousy roll away beds or having to hope for a second hotel room that connects.

“Culture, History, Fun.”

We went from Hong Kong airport by private shuttle to Shenzhen, China. Everything was taken care of, our passports at the Chinese border, luggage, and comfortable ride to the hotel. We wanted to visit Window of the world, a interesting and fun park featuring small and large replicas of famous buildings around the world. The second park we visited 3 times as it is huge. Splendid China and Culture Park. We saw amazing shows and walked through Miniature China, learning a lot of the history and culture. There are more parks like the zoo and Safari. but we will do the latter next time.

“The room is so stinky”

A great room design but the Room is so Stinky. We stay in 2 Bedroom executive suites large space but really need to maintain. The staff in receptionist can't speak English at all. This hotel have a spa and please its not recommend.. The Breakfast is just about the basics

Stayed here for two nights with my better half. What to say? The first impression was at check in - 4 staff members on the desk who could not have looked less interested. Room was ok, clearly quite tired. It was at least clean. The location was not that great, required getting a taxi. I think that the most telling view came on our second night, after an early dinner in the city we came back to the hotel and fancied a drink before bed (this was only about 9:30pm). We were told that they didn't have any bar staff on tonight and that they didn't know how to get our drinks - a whisky on ice and a gin and tonic - as you ask. I mean, really, this is positioning itself as an international hotel and that is not, by any means, an extravagant request. It just summed up an overall attitude that the staff were disengaged and not really that worried about meeting our needs as guests. The rooms are decent, but no more than that, would definitely not be rushing back.
