Before heading off here I read a lot of reviews on the hotel! PLEASE PLEASE don’t let these reviews put you off having a nice time! The hotel is lovely and clean the cleaning team are polite and friendly and work so hard! Everyone on reception is so friendly and helpful when we arrived the plug sockets didn’t work within 30 mins of reporting it they were sorted out for us. The food in the hotel is nice it can be a bit repetitive but you will always find something to eat if you don’t you must be the fussiest person in the world! I likes the option to eat in the all inclusive snack bar as sometimes when we are down by the pool we don’t want to eat lunch just a small snack. The life guards round the pool are very good but sometimes spend a lot of time just chatting and not watching the pool the no balls in the pool rule is ridiculous small children playing with beach soft balls and they are not allowed is very silly and every 5 mins a whistle is blown for the silliest things. The pool is cold but it’s outside so wouldn’t expect anything less when it’s sunny it’s not that bad. We had a lovely time at this hotel and really made some lovely memories as our first family holiday together the beach is 5 mins away and we found a super market up the hill where we stocked up on snacks in the room kids love snacks 🤣 have an amazing time and if you get a chance definitely do the VR experience in the castle it’s incredible!!

“We had a wonderful stay with great times.”

So we just come back from a week stay at this hotel, overall was a brilliant stay. We moved rooms the second day to a better room with a view. So we just come back from a week stay at this hotel, overall was a brilliant stay. We moved rooms the second day to a better room with a view. Melissa in reception did this for us and was quick and extremely helpful. Very thankful for that as we had such a nicer view of the pool area. Which was beautiful to see. Lots to do outside the hotel highly recommend the boat trip to Tossa de mar, what a beautiful gem Tossa is. We came down with the bug to unfortunately 3 out of 4 had sickness and diarrhoea, Reception staff knocked and gave us a plate of fruit with an apologies note when we said that we were ill and asked for the cleaners to come in the room after a bad night. Which I think was very kind of them to present us with fruit and a note to stay they was sorry we have experienced this and if there was anything they could do to help please ask. Which was above and beyond in my opinion. The bug/ virus can’t be helped these this things happen just unfortunate when your away from home. Reception staff was amazing & so helpful, the blonde young girl and the guy didn’t catch thier names but both brilliant any requests they had a go at helping and also all spoke very good English. So no language barrier. Rooms cleaned daily and new towels/bedding. Al areas in the hotel was spotless. The pool pumped ans cleaned every night and the staff cleaned every sunbed and sweeped all around the beds and pool areas. Cleaners found round all the time wiping and cleaning surfaces ect. Kids loved the pools although was too cold for me, couldn’t get them out, lots of slides things to keep them entertained. We never went to the kids clubs an mine wasn’t much interested as they preferred swimming, but could see them going on around the hotel. The staff again was fantastic and kids loved it. We also never went to the entertainment in the evening as we liked to walk along the beach and wonder of an evening, but was packed in there and people getting tables early which shows it’s good. We went half board so had breakfast and dinner which was very accommodating to everyone, so much to choose from on both menus. So much for the kids to do in and around the hotel. All staff was great and helpful and we had a really good time. Few mins walk from the beach and the front of shops and multiple road/streets with lots of shops and restaurants. Lovely place amazing views from the castle and the other end of the beach. Beautiful. We had an enjoyable stay. I would recommend this hotel and would return.

We got back from this hotel yesterday and we were so happy to be home, which we never normally say after going on holiday. The hotel was fine, I wouldn’t say it’s a 4 star hotel though, the reception staff were friendly and the kids club staff were great. The bar staff were quite miserable, but it looked liked they worked very long hours serving us tourists, so that’s probably why. The cleaning ladies on our floor ( floor 3) were always friendly and worked hard to keep rooms cleaned. The hotel rooms were basic, no English tv channels and the wifi was very weak in the room so we couldn’t even watch anything from our laptop. The room walls are quite thin, you can hear people in the next room and the corridors at night were very loud, but after midnight when the entertainment and bar closed it was quiet. The beds were also quite uncomfortable and we didn’t sleep too well. The first 3 or 4 days we didn’t mind the food but it got quite repetitive as the week went on. Plus we ended up being on edge about eating as a sickness bug was spreading through the hotel, and unfortunately one member of my family was effected even though we were all so carful with hand sanitizers and hand washing, especially before eating anything. Hand sanitizer is available through out the hotel, at reception in the dining room and all on the bars but not everyone used them. Our children enjoyed the pools,slides,parks and entertainment and although it was very busy there was always plenty of sun loungers each day. The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to take a wonder into the town and beach. Overall I’d rate the hotel a 6/7 out of 10 it wasn’t our worst holiday but also wasn’t the best :(
