End of October – Family of four. Hotel: The hotel's aesthetics and overall atmosphere are captivating. The location by the sea adds a touch of magic to the surroundings, making it an ideal place for a romantic retreat. The hotel's layout includes many delightful corners where you can sit, relax, and take in the view. These spaces make for memorable moments of tranquility. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring our room was always neat and tidy. I was happy that there was a spare duvet as the nights were a bit cold in October. The generously sized rooms, complete with sea views, were comfortable and inviting, enhancing our overall experience. On the downside there was no kettle in the room. In most hotels, a kettle is considered a standard amenity, and its absence was inconvenient. Also the mattress was very uncomfortable. Food: While the breakfast offered plenty of options, the menu didn't change, which became monotonous during our stay. Additionally, the dinner experience left much to be desired. The food was occasionally served cold, and the meat dishes were overly greasy. Dessert choices were limited to rice puddings or chocolate mousse and one cake. We often found ourselves waiting for cups and glasses in the restaurant, as they seemed to be in short supply. The restaurant staff appeared robotic and not particularly friendly. The 7:30 pm dinner time might not be suitable for those traveling with children or those who prefer to dine earlier. Entertainment: The absence of entertainment for children was a letdown. The website mentioned pool/billiard tables and Ping-Pong, but these amenities were not there. The swimming pool, the primary daytime attraction, was disappointingly cold. Given the season and lack of other entertaining options , it would have been more enjoyable if it was heated. There were no other animations/ entertainment for children as well as adults. There was a dancing/singing show at 9.30 every day at that’s all. Parking: A notable drawback was the unexpected parking fee for hotel guests. At 14 euros per day, this expense felt quite excessive and should have been disclosed upfront. It's a place with potential, but substantial improvements are needed to make it a more well-rounded destination for all types of travelers.

This hotel is charming and quaint around the pool and bar area foyer areas and that where it ends.The beds are the most uncomfortable you could find most of staff are miserable rooms are unpractical for hotel stays of more than a few days shower in room was a joke food was average at best no ommeletes at breakfast in ( spain)?? Shame we looked forward to this stay.

Me and my partner visited this hotel for 3 nights and have just returned (we are a young couple mid 20s) I will start with all the positives - Beautiful setting over looks the sea all reception rooms very well decorated and so romantic. ( slightly old fashioned but still beautiful) - Breakfast was nice, waffles, fruit croissant and pancakes lovely - Only nice staff was the bar lady’s one called janetta was so friendly and lovely She made us our own favourite cocktails and couldn’t be more helpful shame can’t be said about the reception staff. - Bedding changed everyday Negatives - Reception staff very rude and unhelpful didn’t want to go out there way for anything did not feel welcome at all. As it was my birthday my partner arrange for the room to be decorated ( this was £52) I know this as the reception lady announced this in front of me ruining the surprise. I thought this was very inconsiderate and they should’ve let him pay before or at least after I saw the room. Also this was just a few rose petals chucked on the bed a cheap bottle and some fruit. Looked like no effort had been put into this. ( baring in mind this is suppose to be a romantic honeymoon hotel I was surprised) - Although the location is very private right at the top of the hill it’s a killer if you don’t have a car! Taxis cost £10 per way the stairs Lead straight down to the beach it’s not to bad walking down but back up is so hard up very steep steps we are both a young fit couple and struggled so much. If you are looking to be very close to centre and don’t want to have to get taxis this isn’t for you. - Old fruit tray from first day left in room for entire stay - Surprising there was lots of children but I wouldn’t say this this hotel would be good for children at all child pool is tiny and the actual pool is very very deep, no children entertainment at all. Not the best atmosphere at night very quiet. - Balcony was very big could use some sun beds but room was old Fashioned could definitely do with a refurb. We both thought the hotel had so much potential and the setting and decoration in the downstairs of the hotel was beautiful but we would not stay here again due to the unhelpful receptionists and location food other than breakfast was not great either. Parking 14 euros a day and I would definitely advise a car.

A hotel with a lot of character, pity the same can’t be said for some of the staff, who were unfriendly, apathetic and rude. To be fair, Katya at reception was very helpful, and Fernando the manager was approachable. A lovely old building, but rooms are in need of renovation, can be noisy at night due to no soft closing doors , and also cupboard doors inside rooms slamming shut.If you haven’t got wheels - you should think twice about this hotel, unless you like mountain climbing every day. Hotel is situated top of the town , with good views of the sea from public areas, and some rooms . A 10/15 minute walk TO the beach and shops, but coming back is a different story, and an unpleasant uphill slog. Double bed is 2 single beds pushed together, unsecured, so they can come apart during the night if you move too much - very romantic. Lacks basics in the room , e.g. no tea/coffee making facilities , no drinking water provided. Wi-Fi a bit dodgy in our room.
