Stayed here with my partner as a small city break in the sun. From the moment we arrived we knew we had struck gold. When arriving we were met with very pleasant and helpful reception staff who managed us to check us in early despite it only being 9AM. We arrived into our room which we soon realised was right by the entrance to the pool and terrace which was amazing. The pool area was brilliant and as it was so hot the pool got used quite a lot. We also came home one evening to a complimentary bottle of prosecco from the hotel as a thank you. This was a lovely touch. This hotel is very centrally located and we found this very helpful. It has one of the best sunsets I have seen from the rooftop terrace. The overall presentation, cleanliness and staff in this hotel was outstanding and I will be recommending the hotel to everyone. We are already planning on coming here again. What a city and what a hotel. Thanks to all at the Hotel Rey Alfonso X. Liam.

“Family trip!”

We went on a family trip to the South of Spain and landed on Rey Alfonso X. The hotel is at the center of everything in Seville. It was beautiful, quiet and super clean. The staff were very respectful and kind. Adrian was very helpful and made sure my family fit comfortably in the rooms. The breakfast buffet was pretty spectacular with everything you could ever want. Overall a great stay!

“Modern hotel in old building with perfect location.”

We stayed at this hotel for three nights recently on our first trip to Seville. It’s perfectly located and just a short walk from the main attractions such as the cathedral , alcazar , shopping and ‘tapas’ street (Calle Mateos Gago). You’re in the old town so there’s plenty to see on your doorstep. It’s a modern hotel in an old building. Very well updated and stylish. There’s a rooftop bar and small pool as well. Staff throughout are excellent. The room was well appointed with a separate seating area and two large TVs. Very modern. The rooms vary (of course) and ours had only a small narrow window with no view. If you spend a lot of time in the room, it could feel a bit enclosed. Other rooms have different layouts so just be aware. On the plus side, our internal room was very quiet. Seville is a busy place at night. If you’re a light sleeper, this would suit you. Any negatives? If you arrive by car, parking is great in the hotel’s own underground car park. They’ll valet park for you at no extra cost (parking is €20/day). Getting there can be tricky. If you approach from the north, you can pull up outside the hotel. Ask them to send you directions and follow them not the sat nav. The streets are narrow but ok. Go slow and take care. If you follow your sat nav, it will probably take you to the bottom of the street near the river. It’s one way so you’d have to park and walk from here - can be awkward. Leaving the hotel at the end of your stay is much easier. Once you’ve checked in - walk or get a cab (not expensive - UBER is good here). Overall - great stay and if you need to ‘do Seville’ in a few days - perfect location.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in June 24. Everywhere was so clean and beautifully decorated. Lovely roof top sun terraces to relax and have drinks and snacks. The pool is very small, the pictures don’t show the whole thing for a reason, we were very disappointed. But the staff are excellent and the location is perfect to explore the whole of Seville. Breakfast was an amazing selection.
