“Great for the price”

Great location, big comfy bed, room was a nice size, staff was helpful and nice, near a bus station and S-Bahn. Can sit outside at table and have breakfast and coffee. Only complaint is that it gets hot in your room, if your window faces the sun.

I am staying now for the 5th or 6th time here this trip 6 nights while attending the ITB show in Berlin. The room was similar to the one i had last year very clean, freshly decorated and when i arrived very early around 9 am they allowed me instant access to the room. Most City hotels make you wait until later in the day. The same staff were there to greet me Tashken (not sure the spelling) who remembered me from the previous year and who was very helpful in printing a badge for me and answering a few questions relevant to my stay and the area. The room heating was very efficient and as i suffer from the cold this is always welcome. The only slight maintenance issue this time was gaps in the rubber sealant on the shower but i used two towels on the floor each day and they diligently changed them every day with fresh ones. The wifi worked well, the water was always boiling hot, the heating always worked well. I ate 4 of the 6 nights dinner in Il Diversi the Italian onsite restaurant and the food was always superb and i did not bore of the menu as the staff go off menu as well to please you. Breakfast was also served here a simple but decent affair again friendly service. I know the place is a little off the beaten track it cost 25 euros from the Messe to the hotel and once from the east around the East side of the city late at night so not too bad. I bought a week long ticket for the S and U bahn amazing value at 28.80 euros for the week. Very efficient transport system in Berlin. If i do the show again next year this will be my chosen hotel. Price for 6 nights and 6 breakfast was around US$ 640.
