Description
The Reina Cristina first opened in 1901 and to this day the colonial influence creates a unique experience. Refurbished by February 2006. You can find the ruins of an Arab well from the VIII century, still in use and a muslin mosque of the same period. The hotel is set in palm shaded gardens, with swimming pool and two tennis courts. Indoor pool, gym and sauna. As per activities, you can practi... more

“Olde worlde charm just makes my soul happy”
If you are travelling to or from Morocco or Ronda, Hotel Reina Cristina in Algeciras is an affordable, but beautiful stopover. It's like a Manor House with olde worlde charm. The inside is chic and even though it's old, it is absolutely delightful, classic and historical. Jazz was playing when we... more

Indeed on the contrary. The hotel is very noticeable from the road, standing as it does on a rise overlo... more

“Globales Reina Cristina”
We spend 3 nights in this hotel. We wanted to visit Gibraltar for 2 days, but staying there was very expensive so this was a cheaper option. By car it took us 30 minutes to drive to the border of Gibraltar. The hotel looked grand from the outside. Like something from a Hollywood movie. The garden... more
