“Shanghai hotel”

lovely hotel very high 30 floors we were on 19th lifts very good even at breakfast. Nice room overlooking the highway but we were not disturbed by it at all. As part of a Wendy wu tour we were only in this hotel for 2 nights but it was very clean and no smell of smoke, the bed was big and comfortable and there was some storage but not loads, enough for a couple of nights, but again no safe. Breakfast was very good with lots of western options to choose from. We spent a little time in hotel bar on our last night service was very slow and drinks expensive, the hotels are on a 10% service charge to drinks bill. Hotel location was not very central so to go into Shanghai a taxi would be needed.

“Good Hotel With Excellent Breakfast”

Good hotel with efficient, friendly staff. Located on a busy road, but no noise disruption to sleep. We were on the 5th floor, and heard nothing despite the incessant traffic passing below. Rooms are a decent size, with a great shower, comfortable bed for good sleep quality. Breakfast was good qual… more

Good hotel with efficient, friendly staff. Located on a busy road, but no noise disruption to sleep. We were on the 5th floor, and heard nothing despite the incessant traffic passing below. Rooms are a decent size, with a great shower, comfortable bed for good sleep quality. Breakfast was good quality with a choice of Chinese, continental or full English. The only negative was the AC unit in the room. It was temperamental and kept reverting to 24 degrees, which we remedied by turning it off at night.

Very good room. Large bed. Tea & coffee facilities. Safe in the room. Desk and additional seating. Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Downside is that it is quite far from the centre of town and a good 10-15 minute walk from the nearest metro station. Westerners might find the breakfast choices a bit limited.

“Ok hotel for short stay”

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights as part of a Wendy Wu tour. Hotel was fine, bedroom was a decent size and didn’t smell of smoke (as previous reviewer had found). Had some issues with the restaurant and bar one evening when we came back late (9:10pm). They rushed us in to ordering them our food… more

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights as part of a Wendy Wu tour. Hotel was fine, bedroom was a decent size and didn’t smell of smoke (as previous reviewer had found). Had some issues with the restaurant and bar one evening when we came back late (9:10pm). They rushed us in to ordering them our food arrived at different times. Apparently because the meals take different times to cook🤷🏻‍♂️. Then went to bar for a drink afterwards (9:40pm) to be told last orders were at 9:30pm. Not sure if any other corporate hotels that close the bar this early. We checked website which stated it stayed open until 11:00 so a “discussion” took place and we were eventually served. Breakfast was good and overall it was a pleasant stay.
