Incredible value for money with very easy access to the city centre via the tram. Supermarket across the road for stocking up on essentials.

Hotel facilities are excellent - the rooms are very well appointed, typically good Premier Inn quality, and the shower in my ground floor room was the most powerful shower I think I have ever had! Good location next to Edinburgh Park station and over the road from Hermiston Gait. It would have been 5 stars - however - as I had booked a regular room through my company’s business tool and purposely didn’t pick an accessible room, yet I still was moved by management before my arrival into an accessible room. I asked to be moved into a regular room which they did, but it wasn’t a simple process and I was made to feel like I was imposing on them. This is a bit frustrating and does make me wonder if I should stop at the Novotel next time. I have checked & the room I have booked for a later visit (identical booking) actually does have the correct room - even though my confirmation and the room type I booked is *exactly* the same. So beware if booking through a corporate platform.

The bedroom was fine and the food was nice, however the staff aren’t giving the best impressions to new comers: • The tables in the restaurant are sticky. • There’s usually one waitress serving all the tables. • The last two nights the housekeeper hasn’t cleaned my bed, nor has she emptied my bin and not taken away my wet towels, I had to go to reception to ask for towels. I was shaving and I cleaned the off blood with the towel and there’s little bits of blood and it might not come off. I put out the sign that says “ l've let reception know l'd like my room cleaned”, and still the housekeeper didn’t come.
