Thibaut ja Gabriela olivat niin mukavia, ystävällisiä ja avuliaita. Be & be on vanha, mutta todella kauniisti remontoitu. Naapurustossa oli hyviä ravintoloita ja se on hiljainen. Kuljetus on helppoa isäntien avulla.

I cannot sing enough praises about Thibaud and his wife, Gabriela, as well as Thami. While this place is a boutique stay, it is extremely comfortable and hospitable. I came in super late and Thami welcomed me warmly. Despite the language barrier, she ensured I was comfortable, gave me a much needed glass of water, and showed me to my room. The next morning, I had the pleasure of meeting Thibaud and Gabriela, who were extremely pleasant and friendly. Good lord, Thibaud's scrambled eggs are to die for - I was blown away by each bite and it's something I would love to replicate. I had read some reviews about the place being very strict but I don't know - I had a very pleasant stay and felt very welcomed and well taken care of. But the highlight is the efforts Thibaud and Gabriela took to ensure I got to the airport safely and on time. When I had an issue with ordering a cab through Cabify, they arranged a taxi for me for a good rate, and Thibaud even came out of the hotel and spoke to the taxi driver and told me how much I need to pay and what to expect in return. Really wonderful experience and I will certainly be back (hopefully without inconveniencing them too much this time).

Rooms are indeed small and dark so perhaps best suited for those who are touring and only return to sleep rather than aim to relax and read or do any level of work. Breakfast is delicious yet limited in options if one stays for several nights; one coffee or juice only is indicated and that is the case. Should a guest forget to turn off a light or the ceiling fan (note a/c temp is controlled by owners and cannot be lower than approx 75’F even on hot, humid days) this will be brought to their attention repeatedly under the guise of being an eco-hotel. In my experience, however, most eco-hotels advertise as such which was not the case and so a surprise to me and my colleague. Particular surprise is that baths are not allowed (only showers) due to assumption one will waste water taking a bath. Clean and owners love the city and will share recommendations. Unless you have a specific activity in the area, it’s some distance from most attractions.
