This is a nice hotel close to the train station and to the main bus stops (3 minutes on foot). I was in room 104, which faces a small back court, so that there was no traffic or street noise at all. The room was ample, clean and well kept, with a comfortable bed. The free WiFi connection was pretty fast. The buffet breakfast was fine, with a good selection of items. I found the staff to be courteous and helpful. Unfortunately the rooms are not well sound-proofed within the building, so that you can hear people arriving well past midnight while talking at the top of their voices, or the lady next room making a late-night phone call of which I could hear every single word (however understand none as it was in some foreign language I was unable to identify). Of course I do not blame the hotel for the inconsiderate behavior of some of its guests, but still this detracts from a fully positive experience. Torrejon can be easily reached from the airport (terminal 2) by bus n. 824, which operates every 40 minutes or so, generally runs behind schedule, cost 2.60 Euro, and takes 25-30 minutes (faster than using the "cercania" trains).

(The following is compared to real 'hostels' worldwide) More like a 3/4 star hotel feel: lovely, clean and spacious rooms with wooden floors. Decent beds surrounded by nice dark wooden furniture. Clean sheets and fresh towels daily. Helpful staff that came to our aid with anything we needed (for example: an iron). Free wifi. Breakfast was basic: croissants, cereal, bread, spreads, ham & cheese, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, juice & water. Occasionally eggs. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay for a reasonable price.
