“Lots of great stuff!”

Spent 4 days here with 2 teenagers which was perfect amount of time - a week would have been too long for us. The ups: amazing, beautiful, spacious location with crystal clear/clean water; plenty of loungers and always a lovely spot to set up base camp for the day right on water's edge; site generally very clean and not noisy, everyone well-behaved; excellent activities (so much fun on the inflatable obstacle course); and mobile homes are brand new, spotlessly clean and have all mod cons. The downs: the food doesn't match up to the high cost of the mobile homes and is served in a huge, noisy dining area. There was something for everyone and the fresh fish and meat dishes were very tasty (there are some good chefs behind the scenes) but ingredients were generally quite cheap and cheerful and there were a few things lacking eg good yoghurt for breakfast, non-dairy milk options. It would be good if there was an alternative choice about where to eat eg a beachside restaurant to make the most of the amazing views, or they could offer a self catering option so you could eat out in Pakostane in the evenings without feeling like you were wasting the money you'd paid for the all inc. Sports staff were hilariously grumpy but everything worked. Good idea to book activities as soon as you get there as there was a day we wanted to paddleboard and they were all booked up (although i suspect people book things and then sometimes don't turn up to do it). We wouldn't go back unless/until they add a better dining option, which is a shame as this place did tick a lot of boxes; if you don't mind the basic food buffet for a few days then it's definitely worth a trip.

“Perfect holiday for those who love a noisy crowd and plenty of french fries.”

Beautiful mediterranean pine forest, crammed with little straw huts, crystal clear sea, very crowded, loud music on the beach, plenty of organised activities and extremely poor food. We noticed that there are plenty of perfectly happy people around and we found many positive reviews on tripadvisor, so we guess this is what most people believe to be a perfect summer holiday. We booked a comfortable bungalow (available at 500 Euro per night for a family with 2 children). Although the bungalows can buy you some privacy and they have been built in the most quiet section of the camp, the loveless soup kitchen experience in the only available restaurant remains the same.
