Cannot understand the very poor reviews prior to arriving . I would agree the hotel is not quite 4star but with continued improvents it could be. The rooms are nicely refurbished , the shower in particular is one of the best I have enjoyed in a hotel of this kind. Great service in the restaurant, varied menu each evening, would have liked to have seen a variation of fruit ( berries and greater selection of dried fruit ) at breakfast. The staff were lovely and very hard working. In particular Francisco on the pool bar, Daniel and Christina in the restaurant. Javier on reception went the extra mile to be helpful! Very difficult when extra busy so hopefully the new owners will recognise this and provide more staff, not just to benefit the guests but to assist the good workers they initially have. Downsides...the pool area is not attractive at all, although it was being freshly painted whilst we were there. The sunloungers are terrible! Please consider adding cushions of some kind, and is it really necessary for them to be stacked every evening? If for the sake of the grass and yellow patches at least please don't stack so high? Or set some out for guests in the morning please? The outside areas need to be cleaner around the pool bar and overall need improvement although I imagine this may be a future consideration. Would recommend this hotel for location , friendliness and comfort and will return. Additional feedback purely for management..as breakfast is so late consider coffee making facilities in the room please? Also, we went on some early excursions and could not get a packed lunch even though all inclusive. Small observations that will not prevent us from returning in the future. This is a very affordable all inclusive hotel that i would recommend a try. All staff is lovely and polite, the rooms are nice but the beds are okay, but provided good air conditioning if too hot and blankets when it’s too cold that do the job. The food was okay, it had some really good days and some not the best days but overall is a good selection and should be something that everyone would like. Very patient staff as we don’t speak much Spanish but they did very well with the english that they know. Jairol stood out as he has great communication skills and works very well with people, he leaded zumba which was very fun for me and my friend and loved every second. Also has a great location as town is just around an 20minute walk and there are bike and cycle rentals very close to it too. Beach is 5 minutes away which was made the view beautiful. Overall great experience!

This is my 7th visit to this small, quiet hotel and I always come here by myself. I love it for so many reasons - it’s on the beach, lovely pool, great food, big comfortable rooms - mine had a pool view, huge balcony, fridge and fantastic huge powerful shower. It’s recently had a re-furbish and the changes welcomed. There’s always enough sunbeds round the pool, the all inclusive drinks are fab and snacks at the pool are available all day. Snacks include fresh fruit, salads, chicken wings, chips and ice cream. The hotel is in walking distance of bars, restaurants and shops if you want to wander, but I stay out absolutely just enjoy the fab music at the pool and easy access to drinks all day. I don’t drink alcohol so booked full board, but then on arrival I upgraded to all inclusive for just €10 extra per day and it was well worth it. The evening entertainment is the same most nights - kids disco, bingo and karaoke but I wasn’t interested in that and just enjoyed an early night. Yes the buffet food can be a bit lukewarm but who cares! There’s plenty of choice and easy to eat healthily (my choice) with heaps of fresh fruit and salad at all meals. They don’t supply pool towels so bring your own. Staff were fine with me. It depends what you want from a holiday - for me, just gorgeous weather, pool and great food - and I’m happy! You get what you pay for here - and I will continue to return regularly for all the reasons above. That said, if you’re used to bigger Riu type hotels you won’t like this one - but each to their own! I’m a big fan and will be sad to leave tonight! I’ve had an awesome 5 days and loved every moment!
