“First time Taipei ”

The building was hard to identify, but the hotel rooms are spacious and have a nice shower. Very good breakfast with watermelon and teas. The staff are very friendly and they even helped bring our luggage down. Only 10 minutes to Taipei 101. Would come back and stay when I visit.

I stayed at this hotel in Taipei for four nights, including New Year’s Eve, and chose it mainly for its proximity to the fireworks—which turned out to be a great decision. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Taipei 101 and close to plenty of restaurants as well as public transportation. The hotel is a bit older than it looks in online photos, but it’s still comfortable. My room on the 15th floor was somewhat small, but clean and well equipped with everything I needed. Both the air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was plentiful, although it’s more geared toward Asian tastes than Western ones. Overall, a solid and convenient choice for staying in Taipei.

If you are here for conference at Taipei International Convention Centre- this location is great! 300m away. Neighbourhood has cute coffee bars with proper espresso coffee, dinkum local breakfast joints, 7-11 and family mart. Room was big and clean. Gym very basic - two treadmills, a bicycle and one set of dumbbells up to 10kg. Breakfast was so so.

“Nice - but not what we expected from price to quality”

We have been last week there in Taipeh - as we planned our travel, we looked for central downtown location next to public transport, this was actually ok - walking distance to 101-Tower aber 15 minutes, less then 10 minutes to MRT Xinyi Anhe ! Breakfast was the best of this hotel, very nice buffet, the service there was excellent, Coffee was sufficient good ! the staff in general from Lobby to restaurant is very helpful, so nothing to complain in this case. But as this building has really low ceilings of all rooms, for tall people it would be very depressive, also the interior design is dark - the Bathroom etc in marble ( dark brown) is nice but not help to make the low rooms more cozy.... Heating worked fine, so the room was warm fast. Balcony was very small, not cozy and had now view, as the neighbour housing in this city in general is very near to each other. At least when you do some effort you had a view to the 101-Tower....... Room service make up rooms only when you ask for it, amenity package only on request. In general to say: for the relative high price per night we next time in Taipeh would choose a "chain hotel" ....... And if the pricing would be more economical, we would even change our mind ......
