“Top notch !”

Very good location right at Passeig Gracia. Nice staff, top notch rooftop and bar/restaurant downstairs with very good music on weekends. Nice rooms, but you need to make sure to getting a room without street noise. We especially liked having a Nespresso machine in the room. We will back soon !

Very stylish hotel in a very upscale area of Barcelona. The neighborhood is full of luxury and designer stores, small museums, including Casa Milá, and iconic architecture. We loved the modern design of the hotel, with it's subtly masculine vibe. Our room was the Sir Deluxe and seemed large by European standards. It included a small balcony and floor to ceiling windows. The gym at the Sir Victor is the best gym I've ever used at a hotel. It has all the equipment, including heavy free weights that you'd expect in order to have a real workout. The spa facilities were also very nice. We had dinner one night at Mr. Porter. The food was exquisite and the service was top notch. The staff at the hotel were mostly very warm, courteous, and helpful. We had one negative interaction with a surprisingly surly young woman who checked us out at the end of our stay. She was both rude and wrong and then barely apologetic when she realized it. It was unfortunate to have that be the last moment of an otherwise wonderful time. I can only hope she was just having a bad day. It should be noted that while this hotel is part of the Bonvoy program through the special relationship Marriott has with Design Hotels, it is not obligated to provide any of the elite member perks, and it doesn't. You can still earn and use points as well as collect elite nights. None of this was a problem for us because we've stayed at other Design Hotels and knew what to expect, but I see some negative comments about this in the reviews, when it isn't the fault of the hotel, but a matter of Bonvoy's policies regarding this particular brand.

I was in Barcelona very often but the first time in Sir Victor. It was a dream! Awesome location, you can reach everything by walking. Great staff (Front Desk, Housekeeping, Breakfast, Restaurant and Spa), very helpful and friendly! The Breakfast was so delicious ♡ I really loved egg florentine and the sliced tomatoes with olive oil on bread. They're small prepared "veggie" breads - so good! The set up for breakfast were awesome and really cool idea with selfmade juices and fruits! Massage was really stress released. The room was big and comfortable! The bed - I loved it! All Hotels from Sirclecollection have so good beds! On arrival day I made a long "siesta". For sure I will come again :)

Hotel has nice design elements and location is great. In my opinion the room was a bit small for a 5 star hotel. Did not have the feeling that staff was very welcoming or helpful - Marriott status was more or less completely ignored, hotel facilities were not introduced or explained. Also requested late check-out approx. 5 times over the weekend, which staff did not seem keen on offering and refused to confirm until I myself called the reception 10 minutes prior to actual check-out time. Spa facilities are nice but one has to make an "appointment" to use sauna and pool, which, as many other things, staff did not tell us. In total the experience was OK, which in my opinion is not enough for a 5 star hotel...
