“Great hotel”

We really enjoyed a short break at Barcelo Margarita. We arrived late but a small buffet was provided for us, which was unexpected but a lovely gesture. The rooms were spotless. We really enjoyed a short break at Barcelo Margarita. We arrived late but a small buffet was provided for us, which was unexpected but a lovely gesture. The rooms were spotless. The food was good and staff friendly. The pools were nice (we were not royal level so I cannot comment on that pool) and amazingly, there were plenty of sunbeds throughout the day.

“Pleasantly surprised”

Recently returned as a party of 3 (2 adults 1 child) room was on the small side but we were only there to sleep, shower etc. Hotel including pool areas lovely & clean. Food was very good, good choice of seafood, meat, salads slightly repetitive in some areas pasta & pizza for lunch & dinner but that personally doesn’t bother me. (I’d eat pizza everyday if I could!) Staff nice & friendly. The gym looked good (although I didn’t use it) CrossFit area also looked well. Hope to return but will book into the royal level as a couple. Have a great summer Barceló Margaritas!!

“Fabulous!”

Sergio very good fitness entertainment and dancer. Cheers up our mornings no end. Great fun, very interactive with the guests, lovely personality. Motivating and always has a smile on his face. Polite and encouraging, with a great sense of humour. A real credit to the hotel and himself.

We are just back from hotel after going 7 nights all inclusive with our children and their partners . Really impressed overall with the hotel - we were allocated a lovely corner room which was massive . The food and drink selection was overall pretty good - the only small negative I would say was the grill section of Buffet got very busy at times with long queues and often not enough chefs working to serve . Staff were excellent and really friendly in all the bars. Pools and sunloungers all excellent . Entertainment was a bit hit and miss - some good nights and some poor . Overall the entertainment area is not big enough and there was never enough seats and often had to sit on the sun loungers near pool to watch entertainment which was a shame . Fantastic hyperdino straight across the road which was excellent for any extras . We would go back to the hotel again , although overall playa des ingles not the prettiest resort , however the hotels free bus to Maspalomas was great - and it’s such a beautiful resort .
