“Very happy”

Madird is my happy place no doubt and ive been fortunate to visit on holiday many times. My usual go-to hotel was booked and I found Nuevo online and the price and location were on point. Loved it, very clean and tidy, staff very attentive, and the menu/food are very good.

I really enjoyed my stay here. My room was clean, very large and clean, and the bathroom was very nicely updated. The staff was also very nice and helpful. I was stupid and didn't remove the drain plug in the sink before using it, so it got stuck with water on top in the sink. I explained to the front desk what was wrong, and a very kind repair man had it sorted within 5-10 mins of my asking. I do speak Spanish so I can't comment on their English proficiency for other tourists though. However, my word of caution: this hotel is about an hour from the city center of Madrid by transport. It's past the end of the line on the Metro, from which you either have to take a bus or walk about twenty minutes (also caution: if you are coming back from the city center after midnight, the buses do not run regularly). That being said, it's a really nice area with a very peaceful walk to the station. Even as a solo 21 year old female walking back past midnight I never felt unsafe at all. Also when I went (mid February) it smelled really nice all around because the flowers were in bloom. Just an FYI because it is a little annoying to meet friends in the city center/do things there and then know you have at least an hour before you get back to your hotel.

Simple hotel, there isn’t nothing to impress, the room was too simple, the bathroom was too old, I needed to go til the reception to ask clean towels because the room services was very bad, there isn’t nobody to help with de bags, really was a place to sleep, just it! Check in and check out were very quickly. Hotel simples, não existe nada para de impressionar, o quarto era muito simples, o banheiro era muito antigo , eu precisei ir até a recepção para pedir toalhas limpas porque o serviço de quarto era muito ruim, não existe ninguém para te ajudar com as malas, realmente era um lugar para dormir, só isso! O check in e check out foram muito rápidos.
