The staff: from the bottom to the top they are friendly, helpful, patient and want to ensure that your stay is a great one. What more do you want? The food: the chef and kitchen staff are talented, order something off the menu and you wont be disappointed at all. The quality of food that they have at the hotel is exceptional. To relax: the garden is large as is the area around the pool. If it´s warm enjoy a swim to cool off and relax. The location: it´s position in the heart of Andalucia means that it is easy to plan day trips to Cordoba, Granada, Malaga, Ronda and the many mountains, parks and reserves in the area. It´s also an easy trip from the airport in your hire car to here. For a Special Event: we recently went to a wedding organised here and it was AMAZING! All the above points combined to make it a really special day, with everyone having SO MUCH fun! I can imagine that if you arranging a big family event like a wedding, a special birthday etc that the hotel can accommodate a large group at a good price (rather than paying expensive big city prices in Malaga etc.)

From our arrival, and even before, the staff were helpful and did their best to do all we needed, even oat milk was provided at breakfast! “Good place for passing through overnight”

Reception and waiting staff were very friendly and rooms are comfortable. You need a car if staying in this hotel as too far to walk to town in Summer heat. (Difficult also to get a taxi). Pool didn’t open until 12 noon which we were disappointed about and it closed early on the evening of our... more

Reception and waiting staff were very friendly and rooms are comfortable. You need a car if staying in this hotel as too far to walk to town in Summer heat. (Difficult also to get a taxi). Pool didn’t open until 12 noon which we were disappointed about and it closed early on the evening of our arrival due to a wedding. It would have been helpful to have been given notice about this when booking. Female manager was quite rude at reception which was disappointing in such a friendly hotel. Lady serving coffee etc in the bar in the morning was exceptionally friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

It was cheap and it was on the way - rooms are superbig but outdated. To have a balcony is nice. It always amazes me what first impression you get when you walk into a hotel from the look of a reception - but unfortunatly the truth is upstairs. If you want to call yourself a 4 star hotel than you have to update your rooms and everything. At the breakfast (which was poorly compared to all the other places we have been before) it was clear that this hotel gets big groups in (some parts had chinese translation on it)
