“Dated rooms but friendly staff and a decent location”

Stayed for a single night before a morning flight. Very friendly staff. We had food from the bar menu. Stayed for a single night before a morning flight. Very friendly staff. We had food from the bar menu. Was modest but decent other than the $26 “braised beef pie” that was a simple rectangle supermarket pie that you would be disappointed to buy from a petrol station let alone a four star hotel. The room was spacious but dated. Quite inferior compared to the Novatel Newcastle which we had stayed in the night before. I would stay here again as it was a reasonable price, however would describe the hotel more like a three star than four star until the rooms are refurbished.

“Handy location”

Convenient but pricey option at Sydney international airport. Excellent comfortable beds. We had a double/double room on the 4th floor, with early checkin applied it cost in excess of $400 for one night. Convenient but pricey option at Sydney international airport. Excellent comfortable beds. We had a double/double room on the 4th floor, with early checkin applied it cost in excess of $400 for one night. The breakfast was very nice, with all of the standard items, and the 2 x juice machines were a bonus. Dinner at the bar was disappointing. While the prices were very good, the food quality was not. Much better option, in hindsight, would have been the restaurant. Convenience of the hotel, kind of traded off the expense.

“Reasonable but expensive motel”

Reasonable hotel but quite expensive at over $300 for a double queen room. Facilities quite nice, beds comfortable. The thing that let it down was the cafe/rest aurant. Croissant was $17 and with the Easter Monday surcharge was over $19 (For one crossoint!) mentioned that this was for my granddaugh… more

Reasonable hotel but quite expensive at over $300 for a double queen room. Facilities quite nice, beds comfortable. The thing that let it down was the cafe/rest aurant. Croissant was $17 and with the Easter Monday surcharge was over $19 (For one crossoint!) mentioned that this was for my granddaughter and she was not eating in! We then got a small coke and they charged us $8.05 just ridiculous. I am glad we were not eating there. I asked to speak to a manager and the staff said they would get back to me, but that never happened. We ended up eating at the rowing club down the road which was great.
