“Fabulous”

Great hotel, perfect location for the beach and a visit to the old town. We stayed for 5 nights, lovely rooms, food brilliant with lots of choice, even for me who can be a fussy eater. Great hotel, perfect location for the beach and a visit to the old town. We stayed for 5 nights, lovely rooms, food brilliant with lots of choice, even for me who can be a fussy eater. We did some walking and a visit to the old town which we both enjoyed as well as a lot of chilling on The Level terrace. We would recommend The Level although the main restaurant in the evening proved problematic with the queueing system. We are hoping to return for another 5 night break next year.

“Beautiful hotel in a perfect location”

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located right on the beach, with plenty of shops bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located right on the beach, with plenty of shops bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. My room, a master suite, was huge, with a living area, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a great balcony overlooking the sea. The beds were super comfy and the pillows were amazing. One of the reasons I booked this hotel is that it's one of only a couple in the area that has a pool hoist, (in fact it has two, one on the ground floor pool and one on the roof terrace). This was great, as my daughter uses a wheelchair and loves the pool so for her to be able to access this was a big plus. Unfortunately when we arrived neither of these hoists were working. I got the impression they aren't used very often. I have to applaud the efforts of the hotel for getting straight onto this to fix it for us. In fact at one point there were 6 staff members all trying to figure out how to mend the hoist. lol. I have to say Gloria was amazing. She explained to us what the issue was and that they were going to do their best to get it working. She kept us updated and 'hooray' the staff managed to get the rooftop hoist fixed so my daughter could access the pool. Well done and thank you. Gloria is a credit to the hotel. Whenever we saw her in the morning she would come and greet us and ask about our daily plans. She even arranged for a bottle of bubbly to be sent to our room for my birthday. This was a lovely surprise. 'Every hotel should have a Gloria'. We will definitely be returning at some point.

“Wow wow wow!!”

Hard to know what to say, except we were truly blown away by our stay here. The Level was absolutely worth it - you will not be disappointed. The views from the rooftop is spectacular. “Lovely hotel, could improve 'The Level' experience, however.”

Myself and my wife stayed here for 5 nights in May. Lovely area. Lovely hotel. We booked 'The Level' rooftop which gave you daily access to the rooftop terrace and included breakfast. The breakfast up on the level was very nice. Omelettes, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit and veg. Cava was available ... more

Myself and my wife stayed here for 5 nights in May. Lovely area. Lovely hotel. We booked 'The Level' rooftop which gave you daily access to the rooftop terrace and included breakfast. The breakfast up on the level was very nice. Omelettes, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit and veg. Cava was available also, up till 12pm, then red and white wine was included. No beer or spirits at this point. Spirits and beers started at 7pm and finished at 9pm. Obviously if you had booked the level, these were included. In the pictures from the travel agents and on Melia website, there were 2 jacuzzi's up here also. Unfortunately, they were not working, for some reason. This was very disappointing. They should have informed us of this prior to going, or when checking in. If you wanted a drink other than wine, you had to go right down to the ground floor and order these at the bar...and pay for them. I also think it was frowned upon to bring these drinks, in plastic glasses, up to the level, for some reason. We have stayed in a couple of similar hotels in Tenerife, where, all alcohol was free on the rooftop, if you had booked this package. This would have been good in the Melia also. Our room, can't remember number, was, when booked with the level, was advertised as a sea view. Technically it was but it was a side sea view. We ate a couple of lunches in the hotel, they were ok( I'm gluten free), so was limited. We did meet some lovely people, which made our stay a lot better. A quick mention to the girl on the level reception, sorry cannot remember her name, long dark curly hair. Extremely helpful. She worked the 'early shift'. Her colleague, who we only met once, in the afternoon the day before we left, was quite annoyed that we brought up cocktails from the bar on the ground floor. Would we stay again? Yes probably...
