“Wonderful hotel near Guggenheim Museum”

This is a super stylish hotel with a very relaxed feel. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is great with a large variety of options. This is a super stylish hotel with a very relaxed feel. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is great with a large variety of options. The location is in the new town side of the river just 10mins walk from the Guggenheim Museum. There is a tram stop just s couple of minutes away that gets you to the old town in 10 minutes or it’s a really lovely 30 minute walk with shops, cafes and bars along the route.

The hotel itself is lovely and the staff were all very nice. Overall we enjoyed it BUT unfortunately a couple of things let us down. Firstly, there were problems with the lifts (one was frequently out of action) which meant long waiting times (we ended up walking quite a lot instead, despite being on the 10th floor). Secondly, on Weds 4th Sep, there was a hotel-wide problem with the water and it stopped working in all rooms (and took several hours to fix). I would suggest that if something major like this happens again you should try to compensate guests for the inconvenience (e.g. something like a breakfast voucher or a free drink at the bar?) - being unable to use your bathroom for a whole morning is a pretty big deal, especially at a 5-star hotel. The water pressure for the shower in our room was also poor (we're not usually bothered about water pressure, but this fell well below 5-star standards). Our travelling companion (in the room next door) had the same problem.
