Back home after our 13th yearly visit to Sandy’s griego and we were not disappointed as usual. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the ladies with cleaning trolleys cleaned our rooms and left us pure white towels, everyone who worked on the various bars made us feel welcome even new staff. David and pacqui are the best animation team involving as many people as possible and David’s diva show is just brilliant and not to be missed. Carl the manager will assist with anything he can to make your stay as nice as possible Had my birthday while there and that day was one of the best in our favourite hotel. Already got plans in place for next year before we left. The food and drinks were up to their usual good standard with plenty of choice for even the pickiest of eaters. The only problem with the food and drink is that you have too much and leave a stone heavier 😁 but who cares on holiday.

“Exceeded all our expectations.... Absolutely fantastic! ”

We booked a short 4 day all inclusive break here, and it is fair to say that this place exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel is situated a short walk from train station about 10 minutes from the seafront (if flying in to Malaga airport, the train is less than £2 to get to Torremolinos, and the trains are lovely and clean and put our railway companies to shame) As other reviewers have stated, the staff here are just lovely and go out of their way to make your stay fantastic. When we arrived and started to check in, the lovely reception staff quickly realised that there were 2 parties (2 in my group and 3 in my friends group, but we had booked completely separately so had no expectations of having rooms close to each other) but they quickly shuffled some bookings around to put our rooms very close to each other.... What a lovely thing to do for us. The food was great... Every meal had a great selection of freshly cooked food and had something for all tastes. By the end of the 2nd day, the restaurant host checking you in had already remembered our room numbers and greeted us with a warm friendly smile.... Just another little example of how attentive and great the staff were to us. The bar staff were all fantastic too and were always friendly and quick to attend to our requirements. There is a lovely mix of guests here with quite a few Brits, but also Spanish, German and Finnish holiday makers and everyone was super friendly and happy (probably because the staff make you so relaxed with their friendly demeanor) Ignore the 1 star reviews of this lovely hotel... Some people clearly expect all hotels to be The Ritz!

I found this to be a lovely hotel with a great aesthetic and the staff were all really friendly and attentive from the restaurant hosts to the bar staff in the coffee lounge bar and reception. Hotel is completely spotless the domestic staff do an amazing job and work late into the day to maintain this standard. My party stayed all inclusive, I found the food options to be quite limited and I’ve had better quality and options in 3 star establishments however there was always something to eat. We did have a meal in the second restaurant which was prebookable and you have one visit per stay. The food in here was very good and wished I could have eaten in the restaurant more frequently but it only opens twice a week. Pool area I feel is a bit small for the size of the hotel I spent most my time on the rooftop solarium it would have been nice if the drink facilities were in operation on the rooftop. The location of the hotel is good for Torremolinos train station which is a five minute walk into town which is lovely for visiting neighbouring towns of Benalmadena and Fuengirola. Lots of little cafes and restaurants close by the hotel and the beach is about 10-15 minute walk through the town which is a nice walk. Do I feel like this is a four start hotel no, however I feel that this is a good three star and the staff make the experience in this hotel amazing however reflecting on the price it’s more in line with three star pricing and based on that I would definitely stay here again.
