“Great place to stay”
We’ve stayed at Kukuan Hotel (pronounced “Guguan”) many times mostly because we love their hot springs pool. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you get a room facing the river the views are great. It’s quite affordable compared to some of the other hotels, generally around $60 US per nig... more

“Hot springs ”
I didn’t overnight in this hotel, but I used their public bath by paying NT$300 (about $10). It is open-air, and you should wear swimming suits and a cap. Relaxing and refreshing. As it was a Saturday, there were many people.
