We stayed two nights in this excellent city centre hotel. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive, the rooms clean, well-furnished and spacious. We had enjoyable snacks in the bar area and excellent meals in the restaurant. The bar staff seemed to go out of their way to make us feel very relaxed and comfortable, very enjoyable memories.

My experience of this hotel is excellent. Entire hotel team is courteous and polite. They looked after my specific room and food requirements. Rooms are nice and well maintained. Food at jalmahal and jaipur pavilion is excellent. Sheeshmal is worth to enjoy during evening times. Would like to extend my thanks to team Rajputana mainly Mr karan, Mr salman, Mr Ranjit, Mr Krishna, Chef Arun, Chef Harshit and Chef Anup. The housekeeping team and front desk team were good, and all the staff were very nice. The food could have been a little better. The chef came to meet me at Jal Mahal restaurant, but I don’t remember her name. In room dining, Lakshya is a very sweet boy—he explained each dish to me and served very well. “Not as Luxurious as Expected”

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel but it wasn’t as luxurious as we’d expected it to be. It was rather chaotic on arrival and there was no particular welcome of sorts, not like we’d received in other hotels in our time in India. The pool was pleasant. The spa facilities didn’t seem heated We’d booked dinner bed & breakfast. Dinner was at the buffet and there was no offer to dine at any of the other restaurants at a surcharge (which we’d have been more than happy to pay) But what we noticed most were that staff seemed to constantly hovering for tips. We always tip graciously but don’t expect staff to blatantly make it obvious they were waiting to be tipped, This happened in the bar and by our room cleaner, who knocked on our door at 9am before we went to breakfast even though we were checking out that day. He introduced himself, we explained we were checking out and he proceeded to hover outside our room door. We felt so uncomfortable with this that my husband returned to the room to ensure all our valuables were definitely in the safe. Not great. There is so much choice for hotels in Jaipur unfortunately this time we felt we’d made slightly the wrong choice..
