This hotel has to be one of the best we have encountered for customer service. From the minute we entered the building we were made so welcome. I have to use a wheelchair and unfortunately one of my tyre inner tubes decided to explode the day before we left. The staff on reception could not have been more helpful and understanding. We even got to borrow their emergency chair until we went back to the airport. Jet2 took over in Malaga airport after our taxi journey so our nerves soon settled down. We cannot thank the IPV Palace enough for making our stay enjoyable. Our room was lovely and the situation of the balcony was very warm and sunny and sheltered from the sea breeze. There was plenty room to move around and space to put my chair out of the way. The food in all of the restaurants was very good. Breakfast was plentiful, loads to choose from so nobody could complain about the food. Coffee was out of a machine but it was OK. The a la carte restaurant food and drink were exceptional and the service second to none. We also enjoyed the Tapas bar. Again the staff were lovely. If you like walking and don't mind being away from the busy town centre this hotel is highly recommended.

“Great hotel outskirts of town great food and service”

First time at this hotel and area and so good booked exactly the same again. Food good Service good Clean and comfortable If you want somewhere in middle of everything go elsewhere as its a nice walk in to town added bonus is its close to a shopping centre

“Lovely beach hotel”

On the beach, in a great location. The rooms are ok a bit dated, with no irons and hotel charge for iron service. BRING your own. On the beach, in a great location. The rooms are ok a bit dated, with no irons and hotel charge for iron service. BRING your own. We did half board, not worth it as we are vegetarians and choice was very limited when asked for more vegetarian options we were pointed to the salad bar which it was cross-contaminated with meats. We ate out each night even when we paid for half board. There are great vegetarian/vegan restaurants nearby.

“The SPA is in need of a refurbished”

Unfortunately not a great experience . Expected a lot more here from what was pitched as the best SPA in Fuengirola. The steam room was out of order . The Hamman hot stone room smelled of damp. The tiles in the ceiling were dirty as was the showers and changing rooms. The pool area wasn’t hit enough to sit around with being wrapped in a towel. Was also required to wear a swim hat which is dark ages rules at this stage . The Jacuzzi was antiquated large plastic contraption that was like a warm bubbly bath and no more . Staff were fine but slight disinterested . I had thought about bringing these points to their attention but the lady at reception of the spa was too engaged in her mobile so I didn’t disturb her. I thought I would be writing a far more favourable write up before the visit and give the benefit of doubt here with 3 stars for potential to turn into something lovely .
