This was our first night hotel on our classical Spain tour and really was a delight ! Location- set on a hillside overlooking the coast this hacienda style hotel has a beautiful courtyard area and terraces with a large swimming pool ( life guard on duty) . There were a number of sun-beds and pool towels provided. The central terrace area leading to the pool is beautifully planted with trees offering shade and lovely tables near a fountain . There is also a covered bar area. There is a spa within the hotel with bookable experiences. Rooms- our room was very spacious with a large comfortable double bed . The window overlooked a rear courtyard area and plaza and was very quiet at night . There was a small fridge but no tea/ coffee facilities in room. There was also a small sofa near the window . Large bathroom with walk in shower and lots of hot water . Food- Breakfast was Buffett style with a wide choice available including hot food . It’s very busy first thing with coach parties so might be best to avoid the earlier times. The hotel also offered an all day bar menu and evening meals. It’s a short drive/ taxi to Mijas village ( approx E8 ) and I would highly recommend you Visit as its stunning . Lots of traditional shops and breathtaking views. If you there in the day you will Still see the historic donkey carts taxis that work there. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel .

We were visiting family in the area and chose this hotel for its proximity to where we wanted to be. We were not disappointed. We had a lovely room looking onto the pool. We were visiting family in the area and chose this hotel for its proximity to where we wanted to be. We were not disappointed. We had a lovely room looking onto the pool. It felt typically Spanish and was a good size. We had breakfast on two occasions whilst at the hotel and we were very pleased. Both the hotel and grounds were very clean and tidy, and the staff were all very welcoming. We have already booked a return trip. Keep up the work. Beautiful Spanish hotel in a stunning location.

I think the hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly, but make no mistake about it their number one priority is not the multiple night holiday maker, it’s the huge parties of over 100 people that turn up most days around tea time and ruin the experience. We loved the day time it was quiet and very personal, plenty of food to go round and then disaster on the first Wednesday in October 24, 150 Chinese turned up and the restaurant turned into a farce, they were grabbing food like it was a free for all and the civilised manner of the restaurant disappeared immediately. People were grabbing Chips, Fish Fingers, Chicken portions, Deserts and taking it to the tables on multiple plates, the restaurant staff couldn’t cope and we as Holiday makers on a 7 night stay were cast aside in favour of serving the one night party of at least 150 who were in the main Chinese, race is irrelevant but at least it the hotel views this they will know the circumstances, it was a disgusting show of service from the Hotel that night and all they were interested in was the bottles of wine and dining the group party leader. Please be aware, it’s a beautiful hotel before the hideous amounts of 1 night stayers rock up at around 5 pm every single day and disappear at 9am the next. Dinner time is awful because of it and breakfast is best advised very first thing, or it’s like feeding time in a prison.. We will return, but I doubt we will use the food and drink options at the hotel out of principle, they don’t deserve your money over the bar or a lunchtime, where you pay 14 euros for a salad with orange and fruit and find the Chinese kicking it about the floor come 8:30pm
