The hotel has a great location on the beach the rooms are dated but you get what you pay for . The food is some of the best we've had and the staff are very friendly. The weather was extremely hot for the time of year which was an added bonus. There was plenty of sunbeds around the pool & on the beach. We practically had the beach to ourselves as it was fairly empty. All in all it was one of the best holidays we've had & are looking forward to returning back to this hotel at the same time next year.

“Lovely pool! Great views.”

We visited as a family of 4, with our children aged 9 and 13. The location is perfect. Right on the beach front with beautiful views from our balcony. We visited as a family of 4, with our children aged 9 and 13. The location is perfect. Right on the beach front with beautiful views from our balcony. The beach is shingles but with a pair of flip flops it’s completely fine. The sea was rough for 4 days but it was fine. Not the hotels fault! The pool was kept very clean. The staff are really helpful and friendly. There wasn’t an issue with getting a sun lounger each day, however a few more umbrellas would have been ideal. The inside pool and adult only jacuzzi was a really lovely area when you needed a break from the sun. The only let down about the jacuzzi was that quite often parents would ignore the adults only sign and allow their children in. There was no staff around to police it. The aircon in the room was ok but could have been cooler. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with a spacious balcony, a kitchen, 1 bedroom and a sofa bed. The sleeping arrangements weren’t ideal. Having 2 children sharing a double sofa bed wasn’t great. The room doesn’t have a kettle but you can request one at reception. We were all inclusive, the food was pretty good, they had a themed night every night! There was always something for everyone. One of the biggest let downs for us was the evening entertainment. We had looked at the reviews before we came but thought it would be ok, however, it is as people say, tailored for Spanish guests. We couldn’t understand anything. We spent most of our evenings wandering down the front. We hired electric scooters one night which was great fun! Would we recommend it? For people with similar children ages as ours that don’t mind an evening stroll or a game of pool, yes we would.

I was a bit apprehensive reading reviews before we went however I was pleasantly surprised. We travelled as a family of 4, children aged 17 and 9. Room was plenty big enough with a bedroom containing 2 singles and a sofa bed and single bed in the main living area. Fridge and kitchenette in room. Safe in bedroom however we couldnt get this to work having asked reception twice. We stayed all inclusive which was your typical type of meals. Lots to choose from nothing really specific for kids but always burgers and hotdogs. Wasn't hot but wasn't cold. Good times for meals however, what was annoying is if you went for breakfast at 9.45 the closing time being 10.30 then they were never replenishing food they were starting to take things away. Snack bar was really good and ice creams. Good variety of drinks. You can get cups of crisps and also popcorn from the inside bar. Lovely location with a selection of shops and bars down the main street. The beach is just outside the hotel with a lovely promenade. Lovely clean beach but it is fine shingle. Pool area was nice. Pool isnt massive and you can't take any inflatables in which was a little disappointing as its what kids want to do on holiday. Sunbeds were a bit of an issue we never saw staff removing towels that had been there for most of the day with no people using them however, you could always get one on the sun terrace. Hotel staff were friendly but sometimes difficult to communicate. Little arcade for the kids and a couple of pool tables. The hotel shop is very fairly priced. They do cater more for the Spanish (but you are in Spain) and they could be quite rude. I cannot comment on the entertainment as we didn't watch any. We did use the local bus to go to the street markets which was a lovely experience. We got on the bus outside the hotel for a euro 35 each which dropped us off just across the road, which was also just across the road from the Grand Plaza shopping centre. I would definitely return to this hotel and see more sites of Almeria.

“Ok hotel but dated in places and needs bigger pool sunloungers around pool too many very cramped but good views”

Arrived took ages to book in !!!! Room was fab pool area too small for size of hotel , food lack variety just repeated the food around , cleaners work very hard to ensure hotel grounds are spotless, close by for shops bars etc access to beach ok👌👌
