“Hotel port Alicante city and beach. ”

Fantastic hotel and staff, so helpful and polite. Great buffet selection and quality for breakfast. Roof top pool a great place to relax and unwind. Location was also perfect with the beach a short walk away. Somewhere I will definitely visit again.

The hotel is very close to the beach and in quite a calm and safe area. It was nice to return there after a day of adventuring in Alicante. The hotel feels sort of luxurious without feeling pretentious. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we had some troubles with our safe but they fixed it promptly for us. They also handled our luggage that was late from the airport without problem. A really nice woman at the front desk gave us good directions to a store where we could find chargers, as our got lost in the delayed luggage. The hotel has a gorgeous bright and well designed lobby and restaurant with a lot to choose from at the breakfast buffet. Me and my husband are vegan and even thought I do wish they had even more options, they did have oat milk, soy milk, musli, fruit and vegetables so we always managed to find something to eat. If you're vegan you might wanna look out for prawns in the veggies since they have a lot of mediterranean inspired food. Our room was clean and spacious and we enjoyed it a lot. One thing to be aware of is that you can very clearly hear everything going in in the hallway. So if you're a light sleeper that might be an issue. For the price we paid, we're overall very impressed and happy we went there. ✨

“Not as good as it thinks it is but ok.. ish.”

Arrived on the Friday of easter weekend for a 3 night stay to a modern designed building. Hotel was clean, fresh and staff checked us in very quickly. Room 338, modern and bright but with the now horribly fashionable way hotels do their decor...bathroom sink in the room, seperate toilet and awful see-through shower screen into the living area. Had i realised this at the time we wouldn't have booked this hotel. Balcony was large with frosted glass separating the balconies of the adjoining rooms. (Shame they didn't think of frosted glass for the shower cubicle). Staff were all pleasant and were there if you wanted info on anywhere. Pool area and the rooftop solarium looked nice but weather was terrible so we never got a chance to use them. We chose the breakfast only option as we wanted to use restaurants in town in the evenings. Sadly the breakfast was not great, fine for cold food, cereals etc and toast/coffee but the hot food was a contradiction, it was all pretty cold. Sausages looked almost raw and the rest was quite tasteless and we couldn't see a microwave to heat anything up (there may have been one but we couldn't see it) . We didn't eat any hot food again after that so it was toast, cereal, fruit for the duration. Hotel grounds were tasteful and a decent bar/terrace area. Barfood a bit limited and some drinks quite expensive (g & t). The hotel is a tram or busride away from town and the beach there, around 20-30 minutes and taxis were anything between 12 & 17€ depending on who drives you back to the hotel, certain ones suit themselves what they charge, however, there is another beach close by down the hill, around a 15 minute walk but not a lot down there apart from a few restaurants running parrallel to the beach. Also no real choice outside the hotel for drinks or food, very residential. To sum up...nice hotel, pools and members of staff. Would i use this hotel again? No. It's quite expensive for what it is, no room privacy from shower, then theres the breakfasts. Also the aforementioned times into town via public transport and very few places around the hotel to go to. It was fine for a weekend break, wouldn't stay for any longer than that.
