We had a lovely stay here - great service, food, and location. Spacious, comfortable rooms with amazing views of the beach and ocean beyond. It is a bit out of the main city so very quiet which we really liked. The front desk, restaurant and housekeeping staff were so friendly and accommodating. Ha… more

It is a bit out of the main city so very quiet which we really liked. The front desk, restaurant and housekeeping staff were so friendly and accommodating. Had a wonderful massage also. Highly recommended this hotel.

“First Hilton property.. disappointed”

Good - the pool side bar and restaurant was decent. Enough parking. The burger was well made. Check out experience was very good. Bad - reception needs to be warmer and courteous. Checkin experience was very sub par. Room layout is older and it’s showing in the fixtures. The bathroom layout needs… more

Good - the pool side bar and restaurant was decent. Enough parking. The burger was well made. Check out experience was very good. Bad - reception needs to be warmer and courteous. Checkin experience was very sub par. Room layout is older and it’s showing in the fixtures. The bathroom layout needs a complete revamp. Overall it’s an older property. It was pretty full with Europeans banking on the Hilton name but definitely subpar.

Hilton standard hotel, rooms excellent (space, cleanliness, facilities). Small pool full of guests. Broad, long and clean beach with direct view towards Salalah Port. Very good breakfast with versatile choices of different dishes, nice terrasse. Staff in general very friendly, friendly and mainly diligent waiters. Guests primarily from eastern Europe and Russia, some Italian, mainly typical beach tourists, more low budget type. Somehow appallingly, that tourists and the hotel management do not respect Omani culture and rules (e.g. you can wear Western style beach wear at the hotel beach, not in the hotel or during long walks beside this.) Very disappointing and not adequate for a hotel with it´s self-perception of being a 5 star place: at arrival our room was not ready although we arrived half hour later than room access time, the lady at the reception did not mind at all, we had to wait more than one hour, she was very reluctant providing any assistence for luggage. We did not even get a welcome drink, nothing to bridge the waiting time. Finally the man taking care of luggage was embarrassed and proactively helped us. He was just a benefaction! It is clear: if one stays at a 5 star hotel, a totally different degree of hotel can be expected. Location: industrial area, close to the Port.
