“Good (4*) hotel not Excellent (5*)”

Just returned from a week's stay All Inclusive during the May half term with our 2 kids (4 & 7) We had room 3031 which was on the top floor a block closest to the kids pool. Just returned from a week's stay All Inclusive during the May half term with our 2 kids (4 & 7) We had room 3031 which was on the top floor a block closest to the kids pool. Room was good, bathroom massive, we even had a sea view which we didn't pay for or expect. Positive things about hotel ..... - Massive complex - We thought the food was good as a whole for an all inclusive. - Plenty of pools - Plenty of sunbeds - Great staff - Fantastic drinks selection (All top brands) Negatives...... - Hotel and grounds abit tired and in need of makeover some work - Not enough bar staff at the right times in Disco Bar - Piano bar ordering system isn't great as not all waiters can take your drinks order. But we never waited more then 5/10 mins maximum for a drink. - The Janibo restaurant was not enough during kids holidays, if you were not there at 7pm when it opened then you may have to wait up to 30 mins for a table. Also 7pm dinner time is abit late for our children personally. - Saltwater swimming pools (kids pools isn't salt) All in all we had a good time apart from the wind and not much sun, obviously not the hotels fault! I would say this hotel is definitely 4 star not 5 star as it claims to be. We would return again but not during kids holidays as we personally felt the hotel.was not ready for how busy it was.

A wonderfully relaxing week in a beautiful hotel which has so much on offer. We travelled as a family of 3 and had two sea view rooms and fortunately due to this we had rooms close to reception which meant there was not much of a walk with suitcases. The reception area is glamorous and the hotel has so many facilities on offer. A few major highlights: - wonderful rooms with huge comfy beds - excellent drinks on offer in a choice of locations. We enjoyed the coffee shop "Mike's" and highly recommend the caramel frappe. - beautiful grounds to walk and enjoy. It is a massive resort so you can get your steps in without leaving the site. However, you can walk directly onto the promenade which you can walk to a variety of different beaches and even the Marina if you wish. - entertainment was varied and great. We thoroughly enjoyed the South African singer on the Sunday night and the Kenyan dancers. But for other evening enjoyed relaxing in the piano bar. - the food in general was excellent and highly recommend the Asian restaurant "Sakura". A few things to improve: - check-in is quite time consuming compared to other hotels. Queues can be quite long which means if you want to speak to reception you could be waiting a long time. - the piano bar is understaffed at times and meant you could not be served for a long period and with it being table service only this could be improved. It seems you need to be sat in the waiters eye-line to get served quickly. - only one pool was heated and this was a smaller sea-salt pool. In May, it may be better not to do the water polo which took up most of the pool and meant others needed to leave. Rooms: The sea view rooms were both huge and with comfy double beds and good sea views. The rooms were quiet in the nights and had good size bathrooms. Restaurants: The buffet restaurant could be very busy at certain times which meant it could be difficult to get tables. However, the food was regularly replenished and queuing was orderly and quick. Food was varied and tasted great. Desserts were quite repetitive and could have more variety. Fortunately, we were not vegetarian as there did seem to be less choice of hot vegetarian food. The drinks on offer in all restaurants were excellent. We also used the pool restaurant which offered snack options. This was perfect for our 11 year old at times. We were fortunate to be able to book the three restaurants for our stay. The steak house had a variety of options and we enjoyed the food on offer. Our favourite restaurant was Sakura and wish we had booked there for a second visit. The Italian restaurant had great choice and the food was also excellent. Bars/Coffee shop: The hotel has several places to get drinks such as the coffee shop, bistro, pool bar, disco bar and piano bar. The coffee shop is relatively small but we were fortunate to get seats each day. There were plenty of drinks on offer and highly recommend the frappes. The pool bar has everything you need for when you are around the pool. The disco bar only opens at 8pm and is where the main entertainment takes place. The piano bar is a lovely setting with both inside and outside tables. Service could be slow at busy times but expect that is because we were there during half-term before the main summer season. We couldn't fault the drinks on offer. Pools/Grounds: We have visited many excellent hotels and these grounds are some of the best for walking and enjoying. The majority of pools are cold at this time of year but it was pleasing to have a heated pool. The heated pool is busy at this time of year as expected. Our 11 year old was put off the pool due to the pool being sea-salt. Facilities: There is a lot on offer for both children and adults. We enjoyed the mini-golf, table tennis and arcade games during the day. We also got to enjoy a morning in the Spa which was an enjoyable experience on a day when the weather was not as good. Location: We always look for locations near promenades where we can walk without being on main roads. This hotel is fortunate to be right on a long promenade which can either go a mile to the lighthouse or all the way to the marina. It is a long but enjoyable walk to the marina but there are plenty of other bars and restaurants in between. Taxis were very reasonably priced otherwise.

Booked this for a surprise get away for my husbands 50th. The hotel set up is lovely, the food is delicious (we went for all inclusive), it’s very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, not too far from the airport & a short taxi ride or walk along promenade to the local towns. Our only negative was that they are salt water pools and only the smallest one had heating. If the weather was hotter then the heating wouldn’t have mattered. But apart from that we’d definitely recommend xx

“Hotel was amazing other than the beds.”

Beds were not very comfortable, have stayed in other H10 hotels with better beds' H10 White Suites Hotel beds are amazing compared to the Rubicons.Food was amazing in main restaurant' great selection to choose from. Grounds were amazing to walk through.

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful decor, lots of facilities and lots to do for the kids and as a family. The hotel buffet had a lot of choice and the staff were very friendly! The kids club has a lot for the children and a great place to leave the kids without having to worry. However, some things really need to be reconsidered for the overall guest experience. 1. If you book all inclusive, it should mean all inclusive. There were several occasions that we found out things weren’t included or were extra but most frustratingly, you are limited to the number of restaurant bookings you get based on the duration of your stay and apparently, all of the restaurants are fully booked (we saw instances were this was not the case). I have NEVER been to an all inclusive resort where you can’t go to the restaurants on site and can’t even get a booking. In addition to this, a few times we went to the hotel bars to find certain drinks weren’t a part of the all inclusive package and were extra! 2. Bottles of water in a room - on the first day, they provide you with two bottles water. After this, you are either to get cups of water from water stations dotted around the hotel, mainly in bars, or you have to buy a €4 bottle for water refills. A basic thing even the most budget of hotels would give you, these guys wish to charge for. 3. Kids swimming pool was salt water - why?
