This is our third visit to this hotel and once again we were not disappointed. On our previous visit I mentioned about the very weak hairdryers in the room and they were still there, but I asked at reception who lent me a more powerful one for the whole of our holiday. In part of the hotel grounds there is a very large apartment block being built but this didn’t bother us. Food was lovely, staff helpful. It’s just unfortunate that Jet2holidays have now removed the hotel from their portfolio after this August and for the foreseeable future. “Book direct” I hear you say but this works out much more expensive. So, so sad this will have been our last visit.

Once again a great holiday at hotel gran delphin benidorm. The staff are wonderful. Once again a great holiday at hotel gran delphin benidorm. The staff are wonderful. The food is good and varied .there are bu idling works next door we didn't find this a problem .a little noise didn't detract from holiday. We had room 311 overlooking pool and sea view .lovely. staff remembered us from previous years and we're very welcoming .all in all a great time xx

Went here with my mum for a relaxing holiday before the kids break up. this little hotel is in the perfect location on the beach front and away from all the loud bars and crazy drunken brits, although if you want to visit the busier side its a good couple of miles walk up the beach on foot or you can catch a bus at the bus stop outside the hotel. we never had a problem finding a sun bed round the pool so could get up and walk down when ever we wanted without worrying about finding a seat. the Jacuzzi in the pool is fantastic and very relaxing although it is very cold. we were originally only bed and breakfast but after the second day we upgraded to half board as the few restaurants close to the hotel seemed rather expensive or not to our taste. i am very picky with food but i cant complain about one thing on the buffet breakfast, it was absolutely delicious (everything you would want on a full english breakfast). the evening buffet was very random but there was enough to choose from and they always had a vegetarian option which i thought was good. We went to the snack bar a couple of times for meals which i loved more than the restaurant, the food in there is so good and tasty! The staff in the hotel were so friendly and always willing to help. i noticed a lot of the guests were pensioners as this is one of the hotels used by saga but this didn't bother me at all, it was lovely and quiet. one thing that did annoy me is there were roadworks one night at 1am in the morning right outside our balcony so we didn't get much sleep that night, there are a lot of roadworks going on around benidorm right now so make sure you check before you book if they're going to be near your hotel. there was also a crane and a building site next door as they are building brand new apartments next to the hotel, i must admit i was annoyed about it when i got there as the receptionist gives you a form to sign about the building works but it didnt bother me at all while i was sat round the pool and it was still quiet. behind the hotel if you take a 5 minute walk up the hill you will find a load of cafes and a big supermarket and a cash machine. there is also a small shop right behind the hotel where you can buy general bits for lunch (i.e bread,butter,snacks,milk,sandwich meats) and there is an iceream parlour called peter pan which has a lot of delicious flavours to choose from! the room we stayed in wasn't immaculate and could have done with some dusting. the bathroom was lovely and modern but there was no shower curtain so the floor got pretty wet during showering. there were no tea or coffee making facilities unless you paid extra for them which i found really unfair. all in all the good outweighed the bad and i enjoyed my stay. a few tweaks would make this hotel perfect!
