Raul at NYx Hotel provided a unique experience with his outstanding cocktail skills, serving a delightful Valentine-themed drink and the authentic Madrileño liquor de hierbas. His friendliness exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

A 10 min walk away from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, close to metro stations to easily get into Madrid city centre (can also use the metro to get to the hotel from the airport too!). The reception area in the hotel looks great, there's arcade games to play and a fussbal table too! I really liked the fruit flavour water on offer, and our floor also had a coffee machine by the lifts if you need another pick me up. Staff were really nice and friendly, we got to the hotel a few hours before check in so we went to get something to eat to kill some time. We were still early when we got back to the hotel but we were able to check in a few hours earlier - which was great. The only slight downside was the bathroom door not having a lock and lack of gym - but no big issue in the grand scheme of things.

“Good basic hotel to stay and tour the city - would be better if they were not building right above us”

We stayed at the hotel from 22-26 March, the hotel staff on check in were friendly and helpful, upgraded us to a larger room as said was better than the smaller one booked through Love Holidays (no mention of size on booking site but a double room). We stayed at the hotel from 22-26 March, the hotel staff on check in were friendly and helpful, upgraded us to a larger room as said was better than the smaller one booked through Love Holidays (no mention of size on booking site but a double room). Breakfast is basic but not bad and plenty of choice. They were carrying out work to the 8th floor pool and terrace area - we were allocated the 7th floor, so very noisy with banging and drilling on our last 2 mornings, this started at 9am and whilst I know this isn’t too early, when you have been touring Madrid and want a lie in was not good. Bar area needs updating with warn seating but bar staff lovely and friendly and made great (pricey) cocktails. Hotel is really near to the Bernabeu which is great as we were there for a tour but quite far out from main Plaza Major but Ubers and metro are available and much less expensive than standard taxis which are outside the hotel. Safe area to walk around Beds large and comfortable with great bathroom/shower facilities. Hotel is very clean and towels and sheets changed daily. Only downside was the building noise but otherwise a good stay.

“Close to Real Madrid FC ground”

Comfortable stay. room lighting is dark especially around the coffee machine area. Housekeeping good remembering to give us 3 bath towels for a triple room, all in one face body and shower gel. Comfortable stay. room lighting is dark especially around the coffee machine area. Housekeeping good remembering to give us 3 bath towels for a triple room, all in one face body and shower gel. Double bed good but the extra single bed uncomfortable for an adult. Pillows very slim. Staff not so friendly, we walked past the reception many times during our stay and not once did they acknowledge us and say hello. Breakfast is basic. The food at the bar was poor. Good for visiting the Real Madrid ground as it’s only 10-15 min walk away.
