“Awesome!”

Best thing over all was the service, especially Mirabel in the bar. Friendly, patient with my spanish (still learning) and very welcoming. Best thing over all was the service, especially Mirabel in the bar. Friendly, patient with my spanish (still learning) and very welcoming. Rooms were plenty big enough, food was lovely and entertainment was fabulous! Would like to return next year, explore more of the local centre with many more hotels, bars, restaurants, and shops. Beach is very close to the hotel, shingle beach so not pure sand but still pleasant.

We stayed at Golden Taurus at the beginning of June and had the most amazing time! Our room was ready on arrival even though we arrived pretty early and we asked for a low floor room which it was. Very clean and spacious and had clean beds and towels every day! The lady that cleaned our room was lovely and friendly and put my son’s toys and blanket nice and neatly on the bed every day. The pools were fantastic and perfect for my boys (2,6) and we always got a lounger at any time of day. The food was delicious- could not fault it! The entertainment team were brilliant and my 6 year old went to the kids club a few times throughout the week- the certificates were a lovely touch ☺️ thank you so much for a brilliant week, we loved it so much we have already booked for next year!

“Fabulous time”

This was the 1st time that my girls (12&16) had travelled abroad via plane and we had looked at the other reviews prior to booking. This was the 1st time that my girls (12&16) had travelled abroad via plane and we had looked at the other reviews prior to booking. On arrival we were able to place our cases in a secure room next to reception, which meant our girls went swimming and we had a seat on the terrace. I have to say we had no issues with the staff, cleanliness of the hotel, or amenities. Once you get the hang of the restaurant system (eg., if you are not having pancakes for breakfast, skip that section) you can get a varied choice of both hot and cold food. We stayed in a 2-bed room with a view over the pool and the cleaner even arranged the throw blankets my daughters brought which was a lovely touch. We all enjoyed the pools and the the girls loved the waterpark. We spent a day in Barcelona, train station about 15 minute walk away, but you can walk on a path next to the beach (there's underpasses at intervals that go under the train track) and another day at Tossa De Mar via boat taxi (Thank you Yulia from Tui). There is also a street market towards Pineda on Friday morning with interesting items for sale. The Animation Team were certainly animated and I stayed up to watch their final show even though I had an very early transfer. Some very good guest acts as well as the lovely lady playing piano in the bar if you just wanted a quiet drink. Getting a drink (or a table) at lunch or dinner in the restaurant can be delayed due to the sheer number of people being seated, but we were always seated and served. Kinga in the bar was polite and always had a smile on her face i only wish I can remembered the names of the other staff members who were also polite and helpful. Thank you to all the hotel staff members who helped create some great memories.
