We stayed here for a 12 night holiday, Sep 24 - Oct 6 and had a super relaxing holiday. Arrived in hotel around lunchtime and were checked in immediately. Our room was on 5th floor with a lovely view of one of the best beaches, in my opinion, on the Costa Dorado. The room was spotless, as was the whole hotel, credit to all the housekeeping staff. First meal was lunch in the pool bar, no complaints, very nice. And very reasonable prices for both food and drinks, very much appreciated by guests, especially those with children. Pool areas nice with a lovely sea view, great for those who like to relax and watch the world go by. Daily entertainment at the stage area for those who like it, but ample room away from it for those who like to just read, or sunbathe. Always plenty sunbeds and sofas available at main pool and in the quiet area outside the indoor pool. Also, there's a couple of splash pools too for the wee ones. The walk along the beach towards the Port of Tarragona is fabulous, a truly nice beach that goes on for a few miles, the sea is very nice for a cooling dip, or surfing on any days it may be breezy. On to dinnertime and I have to say, the restaurant, although extremely busy, you will never have to wait to be seated. The staff are so busy but very efficient. Great choice of soups, always a big choice of pork, chicken, meat, fish dishes and of course loads of veg, salads and pasta etc. And everything you could possibly want at breakfast too. Thanks Chefs. Must also give a big shout out to entertainment team and acts who kept everyone singing along and dancing every night, plus the lovely hard working bar team, well done guys and gals. We would recommend Golden Donaire Beach to everyone , no matter your age, you will not fail to be happy with your stay here. Thanks again and hope to be back soon.

“Great location”

The hotel is clean & tidy, good location. Rooms are specious enough. The staff are very friendly & polite. A good choice of food and drinks. They also have activities during the day for children & adults & different entertainment every evening.

Had a sea view room on the 8 th floor, lovely room , very clean and comfortable, comfortable beds which were made every day, fridge and kettle with complimentary tea and coffee. Superb view of the beach and morning sunrise across the horizon. One gripe being on the top floor was the lifts, must stop on every level due to being busy but not a complaint . Food in the restaurant was very good, a choice for everyone, cooking stations with meat and fish, a wide variety and have no complaints at all in regards to the food. It did seem that waiting staff attended to the regular guests or Spanish, on numerous occasions we had to get the attention of the staff just for bottled water , some days the water never arrived ! I’m sure it was just how busy the restaurant was? Bar staff were excellent, Nathan, Marta , I think her name was? Jose, worked very hard and were so polite. A wide variety of drinks for all inclusive, bar snacks available which were great. Pool area was fine, regulars were waiting at 9.00 am to get their same sunbeds every day, most days there were beds available in the areas where the sun shone all day, other than that, loads in the shade. Pool was absolutely freezing, I did swim every day though, normally the only one ! Games were played throughout the day outside which a lot of people got involved in, staff all friendly. Hotel right on the beach which was brilliant, Did not stay around at night for the entertainment on offer. Located right next to the bus stops to various locations. All in all a very nice hotel and can’t fault the staff and cleanliness, Would recommend, but probably would not return for a while
