This is a fabulous , fabulous hotel with incredibly kind and caring diligent staff and a great ambience . The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect - you can literally walk out onto the beach from the main entrance and the beach is lovely with Bali beds and loungers to hire as well as facilities and a beach bar . We had no problem getting sunbeds any day or any time at the pool area even though the hotel was at capacity ( the ones around the pool directly do get taken after breakfast though so if you want them go out there around 0900/09:30 ) The entertainment team are nothing short of superb and work hard all day and evening to keep everyone happy including our 19 and 23 yr old who had an amazing time - the acts in the evening entertainment schedule when we were there were really really fantastic especially the Michael Jackson tribute and the 3 female vocalists who really made evenings at this hotel special . There are shops , restaurants and bars near the hotel and the water lake Aquapolis is a 10 minute walk - no need to get taxi or bus it’s an easy walk . Beach Towels can be hired and exchanged for clean ones during your stay which was great. Lovely local towns to visit are Salou & Tarragona - we got a swim / BBQ cruise from Tarragona which was gorgeous ! The food at the hotel buffet for breakfast , lunch and dinner was of a great variety with freshly prepared dishes cooked in front of you and a great selection of fresh options - we were half board and the drinks were all reasonably priced we didn’t need to upgrade - loved our stay and we will be back !

“Amazing beachside hotel”

I wanted to write a review of this hotel, albeit a late one because we absolutely enjoyed our stay here and have fond memories of this resort. As a family of 5 we’ve stayed here twice, in Summer 2022 and 2023 and also recommended it to extended family who enjoyed their stay in July 2024. La Pineda is a gem of a resort with an amazing beach which the Golden Donaire Beach hotel is at the edge of. It’s a great location, close enough to visit many other interesting locations such as Tarragona or Barcelona and has a great beach front walk that takes you along well appointed beach bars and outdoor recreational areas. All the staff at this inclusive hotel are professional and polite and we thought the quality of food was a good standard. The rooms are well appointed and cleaned daily and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the variety of evening entertainment. What is not to like about this hotel.

“Great holiday”

This was such an amazing holiday. Airport to hotel journey was so short 20mins we took a taxi didn’t need any transfers total cost was 37€. Local shops and restaurants in walking distance. This was such an amazing holiday. Airport to hotel journey was so short 20mins we took a taxi didn’t need any transfers total cost was 37€. Local shops and restaurants in walking distance. On the Beach the loungers and white VIP beds given at a price 30€-40€ each for the whole day which is abit much each day and for this reason hardly anyone had them. If you plan to stay at the beach all day then this would be for you. The safe inside the room in the hotel takes a deposit for this for me I stayed 1 week and this cost €10 euros and then returned once you leave the hotel. Same for the beach towels €10 each given back as you leave and return the towels The breakfast is great lots of things to pick from. The dinner is diff each day but not much halal options chicken was halal on few days while we stayed but we managed to find some halal place outside near the shops abit of a walk but worth it if you eat a halal. Mohammed vlad and Joan in the restaurant absolutely amazing always smiles and so polite. Overall amazing stay loved it

“One of my favourite hotels”

Lovely clean spacious hotel . With lots to do throughout the day although I do think they should have it up on a board more to show case what's going on. Lovely clean spacious hotel . With lots to do throughout the day although I do think they should have it up on a board more to show case what's going on. Nice pool..not really one for a lane swim but then there is plenty of room . The veiw from the hotel is lovely back end u veow pool and bat area that then shows the beach too as we are on the ⛱️ the staff all are amazing and full of energies. I have visited 6 or 7 times throughout my life and do love it . I feel it is more expensive compared to other hotels close that seems to be better value for money butt...this hotel staff and atmosphere make the difference here and we are certain we will revisit soon enough;)
