“Great little hotel”

Stayed from May 3, 2024 for a week. Food excellent, accommodation excellent, I don't understand the negative reviews. 10 out of 10. Can't fault the hotel or staff will be back in the future. Within walking distance of the beach, shops and cafes.

The hotel is dated however is absolutely spotless, staff are pleasant and friendly and nothing is a trouble. The hotel is a great location close to all amenities. This really should be an adults only hotel as it doesn’t cater for children at all. The children’s pool is on a 2nd level, up concrete steps and there is no kids entertainment at all. The week we were there the entertainment team (1 person) played 3 kids songs 1 night! There is a nightly show that doesn’t begin until 10pm and there is nothing at all before this. If you read Joanne R and Andy V reviews are very true.

Prior to coming out here I was worried due to the last few reviews from people and having just stayed for the last week I do wonder what some people expect so here is a truly factual personal view 1. Yes the rooms are dated BUT they are spotlessly clean, the company are working hard to deliver sustainability in terms of sheet changing, towels etc but if you do what their posters say then if you want fresh towels daily you get them ! 2. The food has been excellent, there is a wide choice of food and drinks available from 10am till midnight with the cute snack bar being open outside of the herbal dining room hours ! I don’t understand people saying there is no choice ! The choice was huge fish, meats, salads, soup, cheese, pizza etc and then the snack bar catering for those wanting pizza, burgers and chips ! The morning breakfast is equally amazing and the desserts are second to none everything from cheeses, pickles and sweet desserts and ice creams ! 3. The pool area is great, the pool is very cold regardless of the time of day but in the heat is again refreshing, the tiles around the pool do need addressing as some are cracked ! Plenty of sun beds and parasols for everyone ! 4. I have found every member of staff polite and helpful 5. The one huge negative is the animation team prob one of the worst I’ve come across anywhere in Mallorca ! Min club was only on one night despite several little people in the hotel this week ! I don’t believe the team try and do anything that a lot of people I’ve spoken to would Like to do eg aqua gym in the pool in the morning ! Apparently they want the pool area to be quiet but a lot of the ladies said they would like this ! As for the evening entertainment it’s average and starts far to late there is nothing happening until 10pm, not even a game Of bingo! Finally the hotel does cater for hen and stag do’s and sadly some of these guests forget themselves when they drag themselves back from magaluff at 4am, a quick phone call to reception and it has been dealt with swiftly ! This was the same for other guests of all nationalities thinking it was ok to scream the halls down on their return from a night out ! Again quickly dealt with once reception is made aware! Would I come here again ! Most definitely ! Would I like to see some of the suggested changes? Absolutely ! I would suggest people complain whilst in resort so this lovely bunch of staff can deal with your issues at the time of your holiday ! Thank you one and all for a fantastic week xx
