I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel how spotless and friendly everyone was congratulations to all the staff working there. I travelled alone and found the guest also very friendly which is a plus. The rooms were very good everything you needed and spotless. Food very good always something to eat. A big plus was hot plates for hot food. Only one complaint the spirits on Al inclusive were the worst I have ever had not that I drink very much these days but I soon put that right by buying a bottle of whisky at the supermarket and took small amounts down to the bar with me in miniature bottles. Wine was good both in restaurant and bars. It would have been good to upgrade to premium spirits but this wasn't an option when I asked. I couldn't understand this as there were premium drinks at the bars. I certainly would return here.

We had a nice stay at this hotel, it’s spotless and staff are very hard working and keep the place in top condition. Food is fairly good, plenty of choice, if a bit repetitive, mostly hot, although as others have said , on occasion it’s Luke warm at best. It’s a huge hotel and busy, so the dining room can be like a cattle market, particularly at breakfast and evening meal time - lunch isn’t so bad. Worst complaint regarding the restaurant is that they start clearing everything away long before the closing time - for example, breakfast is until 10am, at 9.35am I wanted a coffee (I need lactose free milk) - milks had all been cleared away, cereal had gone - and there were still people coming down - it isn’t acceptable to take things away before the advertised close time. The room was comfortable, and small - no idea what TUI are talking about calling it superior, the balcony is tiny, we are a couple and yet had a third bed in the room - would’ve expected a chair or couch, or just space - no idea why the bed was there, and thank God there weren’t three of us in the room, you wouldn’t have been able to move! Bathroom is good with a fantastic walk in shower which was powerful and lovely. There’s a hairdryer, but if you have long or thick hair, take your own, it’s not very good!! Pool area is really nice, never struggled for a sun bed, nice views from the top of the pool bar, and the whole area is pretty chilled with no noise - there are activities but completely unobtrusive. The town to me felt a bit run down, there are a decent variety of bars, but they’re dead during the day - so lacking atmosphere, we didn’t really venture out late in the evening so it may have picked up later, but I just felt lacked any character.. entertainment in the hotel at night is hit and miss, and the main act starts at 10pm for only one hour, I thought that was a tad late. All in all we have enjoyed the stay, location is lovely in terms of the Cliff top setting and beautiful cove, but probably wouldn’t come back - just personal preference, it’s too big and busy for our taste, and didn’t really warm to the town, but that’s just individual taste, fundamentally there’s nothing wrong really with the place. Do visit Ciutadella, it’s small, characterful, cheap to get to in the bus and even a taxi is only 10euros, and 10 mins tops - well worth the change of scenery.
