I must say I was a bit worried after reading some low rating reviews here - but after staying at Globales America for the past 4 nights, I can confirm that there was nothing to be concerned about. In fact I would stay here again! First of all, the hotel is so clean. The cleaning team is one of the best! Everything is immaculate. The rooms spotless as well as the rest of the hotel. They were always so polite. The rooms were a good size - and the views - wow! Stunning views from our balcony. There was a small fridge which was good (as well as a retractable towel dryer on the balcony which was a nice and handy to have feature!) pillows and bed comfy. Water pressure good. Great room! Location is brilliant! Walking distance to the beach (we noticed many hotels around were not that close or easy to access especially if you aren’t very mobile!) plenty of scenic coastal walks nearby too. Food - a lot mixed reviews here, which now I find a little unfair. There was lots of variety and choice. Fish was always delicious, there were themed cuisines each night (Italian, Asian, etc) and there were even ‘theatre’ stations with dishes being cooked and served fresh! Fruit so fresh (peaches and nectarines juicy and sweet, I couldn’t have enough of them!). Salads were fab! The deserts were lovely, my favourite were the cakes (!) make sure you try them all, as I found out there are not served everyday, you won’t want to miss it! Staff were so friendly and polite too. The only food which wasn’t so good was the one served at the snack bar/ canteen, the pizzas weren’t the best and alcoholic drinks not up to the standards I had in an all inclusive hotel (wines and beer on tap as well as juices, anything bottled you had to pay extra) but that was ok when everything else was so good. I didn’t have a problem with drinking water not being bottled. I brought my own reusable bottle and this way we are achieving the whole point of reducing waste! Entertainment was ok, the ‘animation’ team was very hard working and friendly. The shows/acts wholesome with some family acts (the magician number was a couple and their daughter - really lovely!) I noticed the hotel entertainment team were so good with the children - they genuinely cared and enjoyed getting everybody dancing and having fun. Massage - omg make sure you book one! There was a deal when we were there €49 for one full hour of bliss - Mary Rose is fabulous! We had two massages in the end, it was that good! The massage room at the America has a sea view, you can relax to the sound of the waves! Excellent. (You may need to go to the globales Samoa next door during certain times but if you can try and book at the America the view is worth it!) The beach - €15.50 for two loungers under one parasol, all day, all maned by the council worker who also looked after the beach and public toilet which were very clean. You can pay less, €5 per chair with no parasol if you choose too. All in all a lovely stay, would recommend! Definitely don’t go by the poor reviews - and make your own mind is my advice! “HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”

SECOND TIME WE ENJOYED THE SUPERB VIEWS FROM THE HOTEL. OUR STAY WAS EXCELLENT : THE FOOD WAS GOOD, THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFULL AND THE ANIMATION TEAM VERY FUNNY. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD AT OUR NEXT TRIP TO THE GLOBALES AMERICA! ALTHOUGH THE DAILY WINE COULD BE BETTER!

Nice hotel but some improvements could make it great Spacious room with a beautiful view of the beach. Could be a bit noisy at night with the evening entertainment though as it was right below our room. Aircon in room was also very noisy and woke me through the night Food was typical AI. I'm a vegan and I had very limited choices other than salad for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Better labelling of food might help with this. My husband also wasn't overly impressed with the dinner so we ended up eating out most nights. Plenty of drinks but I think this could be even better if there was a wider choice of cocktails with AI and also prosecco as the wine wasn't very palatable. The resort itself is quiet and not much going on. Lot of restaurants/shops closed down by the look of it. We were only there for 3 nights but I think we would have struggled if we had been there any longer. Overall a nice hotel and would return for a short break but not any longer.

“Good quality hotel”
