Returned on 20th May having stayed at the Las Salinas for 3 weeks on an all inclusive basis through Jet2 Holidays. Once again we had a fantastic holiday and it was good to see the hotel is steadily refurbing parts - we were advised by Jet2 that the main pool would be out of action when we arrived but it did not affect us as the other 2 pools were available and the main pool was available after a few days. Really do not recognise some of the reviews listed and whilst no hotel is perfect, some negative comments are really exaggerated. The hotel guests have a large UK contingent but they are also from a wide mix of countries and are mainly couples. Whilst the rooms could do with some updating, they are clean, well maintained and very large with a separate bedroom and a big balcony with a free in-room safe. All the staff are very friendly and approachable but special thanks to Dalila, Pilar , Sang and Daniel who made our stay so special and Augustin in the lobby bar who always had a lovely smile and remembered our usual drinks. My wife is a fussy eater but always enjoyed the made to order omelettes at breakfast and the well presented mix of salads and freshly grilled meats at lunch and dinner. I on the other hand really enjoyed the fresh fish, especially the salmon and the other more Canarian style food. The hotel itself is located directly on the beach and overlooking a small sandy bay with a marina on the opposite side and the walk into the main centre is only 5-8 minutes with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars ( many showing football) - if you turn right outside the hotel and walk for 5-10 minutes there are other sandy beaches and a shopping centre. Will we return again - definitely yes and we have already booked to return for our 14th visit in September.

I have just returned from a weeks stay. I am not normally one to right reviews but wanted to give some fair feedback as the previous reviews seemed to be either love or hate but nothing in between. Hotel is lovely, very clean and the little interaction i had with the staff was all very pleasant and extremely helpful. The rooms maybe a little tired in places but what do you expect with a constant revolving door of guests. We had 2 junior suites which were massive they are more small apartments rather than hotel rooms. They were clean and the beds were very comfy. The bathrooms came complete with 4 towels shower gel , shampoo and conditioner and a great hairdryer so no need to bring your own. Check out is 12pm but i was offered a late check out 30 euros for 3pm or 50 euros for 5pm which worked out great. All areas of the hotel were very clean and well maintained The location of the hotel was perfect you were a 5-10 minute walk in either direction of the hotel to shops/ restaurants and the beach was lovely however i would suggest turning right outside the hotel and going to the next beach as the sand is softer. All in all the hotel was a lovely place. However it did feel like to AL was lacking a little. I am not sure if they are new to AL but i think they have a little way to go for what i would expect from an AL hotel. The pool and hotel is in a horse shoes shape which causes it to be very windy which i imagine is lovely in July/August but it was very cloudy causing it to feel cold while we were there so i chose to catch the sun at the seating area in the front of the hotel unfortunately this meant if i wanted a drink i had to pack all my bits up walk all the way to the back of the hotel to the pool bar as they only seemed to have one bar open at once it did get annoying. It might be worth allowing access to the soft drinks and having a coffee machine in the bar behind reception during the day or having them available in the lobby. The food while i will admit i am a bit of a fussy eater, on holiday i live on salad and pasta so am always easily pleased as they are always available however while the food was not bad quality I really struggled and we ended up eating out which defeats the purpose of AL The breakfast was amazing so much choice fruit , toast , full English, pancakes, yogurt etc Lunch and dinner while there seemed to be a decent choice someone cooking meat/fish the buffet was a lot of meats in sauces which may have tasted nice but did not look very appealing same with the pasta. I know it’s difficult when you have to cater for a lot of people and nationalities. I thought I would be safe with the puddings but while they looked lovely each one tasted exactly the same and of nothing really. It was so disappointing. Also while i do not have small children anymore i did think children were not catered for at all really and as a parent you would have a nightmare. The have help yourself drink pumps however we did have a few times they were either not working or had run out. There are 2 coffee machines which thankfully as the hotel was not busy we did not have to queue for to long for but again in the peak of summer i imagine it would take ages to get a drink especially at breakfast time. The food area is small and overall i was left disappointed. We only used the evening lobby bar once as it took ages due to the queue again the hotel was very quiet so I imagine it would take forever in peak times. The entertainment was very lacking you had a man with a guitar and a singer when no one really paid attention to it wasn’t great. One thing i was a little shocked about was they had 2 ladies with a laptop playing kids songs which was sweet until you actually listened and a few of the songs play to what looked like a few 3-5 years old had swearing in the songs so maybe worth just checking the playlist for the kids disco. What i found odd was there was not real atmosphere to the hotel it was just quiet even by the pool in the day there was music playing but really quietly it was weird you walked through the lobby in the day and you could hear a pin drop maybe its just me but every hotel i have ever been to just seemed so much livelier. I would say this hotel is more for couples without children or older couples, i would have really struggled had I talked my kids here when they were younger. I wanted something a little more quieter than the norm but even i got bored halfway through the week. I would still recommend the hotel to the right audience it is lovely and clean the staff are nice and helpful. The location is great. I would recommend B&B as it’s very cheap to eat out and the supermarkets have everything you need.

I am currently staying at this hotel and, while it boasts a great location and spacious rooms, I regret to report several significant issues that detracted from my experience. Firstly, the cleanliness of the rooms leaves much to be desired. It appears that the cleaning staff do not thoroughly clean the rooms, as I noticed persistent dirt and dust during my stay. Additionally, while I observed other balconies being washed regularly, our balcony was neglected. This neglect has unfortunately attracted pigeons, resulting in an unsightly mess of droppings that were never cleaned. The food quality was another major disappointment. The variety is limited, and what is available tastes cheap and unappetizing. It is far below the standard one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The beverages were similarly subpar; the fizzy drinks from the machine were consistently flat, making for a very unsatisfactory dining experience. While the pool area itself is well-maintained and visually appealing, the water is uncomfortably cold. This has discouraged us from using the pool entirely, which is a shame given the otherwise pleasant surroundings. Overall, these issues have significantly impacted our stay, and I hope that the hotel management will address them promptly to ensure future guests do not encounter the same problems.
