“Lovely room, good service but poor location.”

The hotel is easily found from the A6 road and provides a good room for the night at a very reasonable price. We upgraded our room to a superior for only 4€. Our room was lovely and the bathroom excellent. The hotel is situated in among many garages so is not very pretty but the building itself is imposing. Our room was a little way from the lift but nothing too problematic. The centre of town is closeby and walking distance. There are many restaurants and bars. A good place to stop for a short break on the way from Santiago to Madrid.

“Outside Madrid”

A very convenient hotel just outside Madrid.Not Modern but spacious quiet rooms with large clean bathroom.Good value.It has a bar and restaurant if you need it. Staff helpful.It is just off the A6 so very convenient for travelling on to you next destination

This is a pretty clean and well maintained older property. Yes the rooms are small and have no extras (microwave, fridge, etc), but are pretty standard for rooms in Europe. The bathroom was also decent and the beds comfy. The staff was relatively nice and professional. The breakfast was overpriced for how sub-par it was. But the price of the room was quite good (just under 40 euros as I recall). It was also pretty quiet in the room which is rare in a European hotel. All that said there is one reason we will never return to this place. They have no room phones. Well there actually is a phone in the room, but it can't communicate with the outside world, only internal to the hotel. You might not think this would be an issue today with cell phones everywhere (as obviously the hotel sees it). But since our US cell phones didn't work in Europe, we had no way to communicate with the family that we were there to visit in town. No, they couldn't call us at the hotel and we couldn't call them without going down to the lobby. So any coordination for family activities required someone from the family to get in a car and drive the 2 miles to the hotel to tell us what the plan was for the evening or when they would be picking us up. That got old really fast. How, you must ask, can a hotel in the 21st century have no way to patch an incoming call through to the phones that are in the guest rooms? Its Spain. If the hotel were to figure out how to make their room phones function like normal phones we would stay here again. But it is doubtful that this will ever happen. Its Spain after all.

“Small room”

Clean and comfortable but the room was very small for the price. Bed was crisp and pillows ok. The location is alright but we didnt enjoy the restaurant. The reception staff were proffessional but not too friendly
