Went to this place with my son for a 5 day break in the sunshine. I was a bit apprehensive due to previous mixed reviews but didn’t need to be. The hotel was very clean and tidy, the reception staff were kind and courteous and there were plenty of bar/serving staff on our visit. I know that reviews had suggested that there weren’t enough staff I never waited more than a minute or so to be served and never felt that I wasn’t a priority. The hotel clientele is very much Spanish and it is focussed on the majority which is understandable. The food is that way as well and did become repetitive but on all inclusive that will always be the case. We never went hungry as always something to eat and drink for both me and my son. The entertainment is poor apart from the one night that there was a magic show and some work does need to be put in to make that better. All inclusive snacks drinks and ice cream from the pool bar and plenty of choice. All in all a good trip. I couldn’t give this 5 stars as it’s a lower budget hotel but you get everything you need to have an enjoyable holiday and with the beach 5 minutes away that’s a good alternative if you miss the morning rush for sun loungers.

Arrived to a lovely clean room on 7th floor. Had a partial sea view and pool view which gave us much entertainment watching the 10am sunbed warriors come out. The food was lovely, lots of choice but the only thing I would say is we had duck for one evening meal, spring rolls for lunch the next day and chow mein next evening. It would have been lovely to have them all together. One woman when we were there moaned everyday about the food although she managed to fill her plate over and over! We went out one evening for a curry at Sizzlers and it was amazing just for a change. Pool was lovely and the drinks went down very well. I would probably pay for the premium though. Entertainment was rubbish. Sorry but 2 singers every night and a juggler was not good and very Spanish based. There were not many English people at the hotel and the staff seemed to favour the Spanish customers. They had the kids club disco at 9.30pm till 10pm in the same room as the adults bar which was a massive mood killer!!! Baby shark just as you've had dinner and starting to get a bit tipsy...not good. Beach was very close and a nice walk to fuengirola should have been about a 30 min walk but it was so hot we got a taxi. 7 euro. Couldn't find any shops though and the bars didn't seem to be very busy at night. Walls between the rooms are paper thin. You can hear everything including toilet noise! We wouldn't return because of the entertainment and thin walls and didn't feel there were many good bars with entertainment or restaurants close by as an alternative but we enjoyed a week relaxing in the pool with nice food n drink.

The waiting staff, housekeeping and dining staff were all lovely here, sadly the same can’t be said for the reception staff, very condescending and rude to our children! I would like to give a special mention to Javer who works as part of the bar staff, he is super polite and very helpful assisting us with our very broken Spanish, thank you Javer! Sadly there was never enough sunbeds around the pool, many people were precious about this and practically camped out to get the same spot, there was plenty of space around the pool but for some reason they only put sunbeds on one side of the pool. There was loads of fun games and activities at the pool which was enjoyed by all. Occasionally the pool was very dirty, we used the indoor pool mostly as it was very welcoming, especially to cool you down with the 31 degree heat. You need a cap for the indoor pool, they cost 1.5 Euro at the spa reception. This hotel has a very authentic feel as many guest are Spanish, which we love so it was great to see. There were a minority of guest that were quite unkind, not aware that we could understand bits of what they were saying, my children were upset at these guests however I explained that you get unkind people everywhere and they are a minority! The location is lovely, right by the beach and close to bars if you want to venture out. We thought the food was delicious, fresh and tasty. The all inclusive as a whole was pleasantly surprising, the drink options and ice creams and milkshakes for the kids. Also the savoury snacks at the pool bar were lovely, Spanish Tapas. Now sadly the reason we have given 3 star is the rooms. They are very dated and need upgrading! The beds, we were in a double room apparently, this was 2 single beds put together and they kept moving apart as they are on wheels, so sadly my husband and I slept separately the whole holiday. The pillows were so poor that my husband had come home with a very tender neck. The balcony felt very unstable also and we were 6 floors up so I kept the kids off the balcony. Finally the walls are paper thin, we heard our neighbours shower, talking and everything else!!!!!!!!!!! All in all this was a nice pleasant holiday and if the rooms weren’t so poor it would definitely be a solid 4.
