The Flamingo Country Club is a spectacular resort that enjoys superb views of the Mandalya Bay and the Aegean Sea in the Bodrum area of Turkey. This popular self catering holiday resort offers a wide variety of facilities coupled with high levels of service from its spot overlooking Tuzla Lake on the Bodrum peninsula. The Flamingo Country Club is the ideal base from which to explore the Bodrum Peninsula – either hire a car or make use of the Dolmus (local buses) which are cheap, safe and fun. Bodrum Town, which is well worth a visit, is just 40 minutes from the Flamingo Country Club complex. Although the Flamingo Country Club is well positioned for exploring the Bodrum peninsula, there are so many things to do onsite you may find that you never leave the complex. Pamper yourself in the Country Club’s beauty parlour, hairdressers, indoor pool, sauna or Turkish bath or enjoy the fitness room with its lovely views. For the energetic there are tennis courts, swimming in one of the many outdoor pools, basketball, volleyball and table tennis. Prefer to just relax, try the beach club or clubhouse, which both have a restaurant and a cafe/bar. A mini supermarket is available for all your shopping requirements and children will love the fully fenced outdoor play area. Golf is a big feature of any stay at Flamingo Country Club. Onsite there is a 6-hole golf course and just five minutes drive from Flamingo Country Club is the impressive new Vita Park Golf Resort, comprising of two world class golf courses, the Milas, a par 71 golf course with a Scottish Links feel and the Arizona styled Halikarnas, a par 71 course which takes in the contours of the hills around the lakeside. Both courses are designed to test golfers making every game a challenge. Vita Park also has its own driving range, pro-shop, clubhouse and restaurant. The Milas-71 is a pay & play course open to non-members. The Flamingo Country Club complex is made up of one and two bedroom apartments and two and three bedroom villas clustered together in small groups on the hillside. Each apartment/villa has access to the various communal pools and the many resort amenities. Some of the villas even have their own private pools for guests to enjoy. All accommodation is spacious and furnished to a high standard with air conditioning, en-suite facilities, television, DVD player, kitchen and a balcony or terrace making this the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a self catering holiday in Turkey that is suitable for couples, families and groups of friends alike.

“Fantastic views over lake Tuzla and the Aegean sea.”

We had a break there in November when the holiday season had finished. We both work summer season and wanted somewhere peaceful. This was ideal for us. “A wonderful Place to stay”

Travelling as a family of 7 we thoroughly enjoyed our stay on this complex. The views were outstanding, you are surrounded by beautiful mountain views or sea views depending on where you are situated, the main pool was great fun with the waterslides, It wasn't busy so the children could enjoy the slides without having to queue. There are lots of other pools to choose from if you don't fancy the main one. There is a restaurant and bar which we ate at once, the food was nice and good value about 20 lira for a burger and chips, which the kids loved but I prefer Turkish dishes. There is a shuttle bus the takes you between the flamingo, turquoise and royal heights (two other resorts that you have access to)which is useful for people that don't fancy the very hilly walks. There is a restaurant at the Turquoise which has lovely food, they do a roast on a Sunday and have live music on Wednesday nights, Royal Heights also have a restaurant which we didn't get to eat in as we made the long trek down there and it was shut (on a Saturday night). They have a very basic beach there which we went to once, we didn't really like that beach though as the only option for swimming in the sea was to dive off a jetty into the deep ocean which didn't suit the children. We got free transport to Yelken beach which is really lovely, it has a great vibe and a lovely bar/restaurant with a fantastic barbecue and live music on a Thursday evening. Another great beach is sunset beach which again has a lovely restaurant and a bigger beach with sand, sun beds and sun shacks that you can hire for the day, you can get a free lift to this beach as well if you call them(05373369096) its only 5 mins away from the resort. The Spa at the Flamingo is amazing! I treated myself x3 times to medical massage, Turkish bath and facials fantastic value for money, the best treatments in the world! A real treat! If you want hustle, bustle, busy entertainment then this place is not for you. However if you like nature, beauty, peace and quiet and relaxation and don't mind keeping fit (with all the hilly walks) Then this place is great. My kids ranging between 10-17 loved it as well! FYI (EXTRA BITS) **There are wild dogs around, that were harmless but if you have a dog phobia I wouldn't go. **All the pools were clean when we stayed. **Everything was really cheap, we went on a boat trip, waterpark trip and ate out every day. ** It can seem like a bit of a ghost town when you get there as its really not busy and hasn't got loads going on - which we liked - but you can find things to do, such as beaches etc

“Nice view of Nature and Sea”

Suits are between sea and salt lake which you can see some flamingos who named the resort. There are a lot of pools and water parks. Sea is clean and nice. Close to the market and shops. Far from Bodrum Center but easy acces with one bus. I will prefer again and again.

“Getting better every year”

FCC had some bad press and bad reviews under previous management but this has now changed. The gardens get better every year and were looking great.
